Never a complaint. Coffee and pastries are good, the staff attentive and polite. Ask for something a bit off the menu, happy to comply. Get a Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter mocha next time. We’ve had 3 coffee places in Celina prior, only 1 remains today. Hazelnut is a welcome addition.

Very knowledgeable staff and excellent drinks. The quality can’t be beat. The owner roasts the beans fresh next door! I highly recommend buying their bags of whole been, fresh roasted coffee for enjoyment at home.

The coffee shop is a very quaint place and good atmosphere to enjoy a good smooth tasting coffee but the price of a coffee was a bit steep for my taste!

On a recent business trip to Celina I was told about a new coffee shop that might satisfy my «discriminating tastes». Hazelnut did not let me down in any fashion. This local shop is owned by the current Celina Mayor and his wife who add a personal touch to everything at Hazelnut. Hazelnut offers a full selection of espresso drinks which were on par. Even the drip coffee at Hazelnut surpasses the others. Baked goods(including gluten free), oatmeal and fruit and veggie smoothies provide some great food options. On some days, a couple of homemade quiche options are available which aren’t to be missed. The atmosphere at Hazelnut is conducive to catching up with friends or on work. When the weather permits, their lovely patio and its lake view are the preferred option. I went to Hazelnut everyday I was in town. Each day I got the dark roast coffee and while it changed each day it was always great. I also enjoyed the Go-Pro smoothie. I had mine made with peanut butter, chocolate protein, bananas, spinach and almond milk. Sooo good and filling! Hazelnut gets 5 stars for the friendly service, great atmosphere, nice selection and preparation of food and drink and reasonable prices. So glad Hazelnut has given this small town a place for locals and those of us visiting from bigger cities.

Really fantastic! I drink black coffee– or occasionally an unsweetened Americano– because I like the taste of roasted coffee beans. The single origin drip coffees here are REALLY incredibly good(somehow better than the espresso)…and everything else– including the service, is simply the best around! This place is worth a try no matter where you are from.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by this cute coffee shop. The owner is very passionate about his coffee and runs an amazing shop. Thank you for our great coffee and pastries. If we are ever out towards Celina again, we will definitely stop by.

Stopped in with my mom and toddler this afternoon. Very friendly service. My mom enjoyed a matcha tea and they mixed up a coconut brown sugar latte for me. Totally yummy and no risk trying something new as they promised to remake my drink if I didn’t love it! They also have juice boxes to keep the little ones happy, bonus points! Definitely recommend, and there’s also a drive thru if you want your coffee to go.

What a great Celina coffeehouse! Hazelnut is owned by Jeff and Patty Hazel, and they are passionate about great coffee and a relaxing café atmosphere. If Jeff looks familiar, it’s because he’s the mayor of Celina. The atmosphere is relaxing and hip, and they’ve gone farmhouse chic… but unlike other trendy coffeeshops, Hazelnut actually uses local antiques to get that interesting flair. They even have a family heirloom as a table. They’ve put their heart and soul into their dream of a coffeehouse, and it shows. They roast their own coffee, and it is delicious. I had a Decaf Latte… i was happy to hear that they have a special grinder just for decaf beans so that they don’t get contaminated with caffeine from the regular beans. Stop in and try some coffee and baked goods… you won’t be disappointed!
