La Carreta

First of all, the artwork is beautiful and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The hand carved details in each booth are stunning! The hostess is always quick to find us a seat and we are barely sat before we are given complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is delicious and I even like their hot salsa!
I have ordered different things each time I’ve been here and I have never been disappointed. The staff is always VERY attentive and VERY quick to refill our drinks, they clear the dishes VERY promptly and work together as a team. If your server is busy and another walks by to see your glass empty, they are prompt to offer a refill!
The food has always been delicious. On my most recent visit I ordered a chimichanga. The person I was with ordered a nacho supreme as an appetizer for us and WOW was it HUGE! I could have absolutely eaten that as my meal and been plenty full!
I’ve had frozen cocktails, as well as their soda and even their drinks are always delicious! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to a group or just a small party as well.

How many Mexican restaurants charge for chips and salsa??? None that I have ever been to but this one does! The Margarita tasted like cleaning detergent and the quesadilas didn’t have cheese on them just meat. Don’t think I will ever visit here again just giving a review so u will be prepared. Also the steak meat that was in my quesadilas was so tough I couldn’t hardly bite it apart.

Great food and great service. We will definitely eat here again. Salsa and chips so good I had a hard time to stop eating them. We had nachos with steak chicken and shrimp and it was large enough for two to eat and rich with flavor.

Pretty good food ! I’ve found hair in my food before but they always fix it without a problem ! Definitely will come back for the enchiladas ‚& chips & salsa ! Oh and the queso !

La Carreta: come for the quesadillas, stay for the artwork. My friends and I were passing through town and decided to stop here for dinner. I ordered the veggie quesadilla, and was supremely pleased with my purchase. My friend ordered juevos rancheros, but said that the eggs werecooked too long. Overall, it was exactly like most every other Mexican restaurant. However, the artwork here will provide you with likely years of entertainment. The faces on the figures are priceless.

Love it here! My friends parents own the place (the Delgado’s) and the service is great not to mention the food!

Have yet to be disappointed.

This restaurant has gone downhill and is now nothing but a glorified Taco Bell. The last 3 times I ate there food and freshness were missing. I conveyed my disappointment to management on each occasion and was promised it would be fixed. Last night was the final time I will be visiting. The fajitas were nothing but goo. It is all frozen reheated low grade food. This place used to be great, but no more. Unfortunately, I don’t expect it to last. Calling Robert Irvine!!!
