This B&B was beautiful and fantastic! One of the most wonderful things was we enjoyed conversation with the hosts, Tom and Susan. They are really nice and gave us a warm welcome. Also, we enjoyed our cozy room as well. The room«fanny» was upstairs and we saw beautiful sun rise and stars from the balcony. It took my breath. The furniture and sundries were very tasteful and lovely. Also, the breakfast was so good. Staying at The Kerr Inn was comfortable and too nice to leave. We’ll defiantly visit again! Thank you Tom and Susan!

They should really call themselves a boutique B&B. The inn carries this tender, embracing atmosphere the like of which I find in Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. Tom and Susan are embodiment of the Southern Hospitality, if you care to receive it, but they’ll also leave you alone in your peace and quiet, if you will. If you are overwrought and need to recuperate from the hustle and bustle of the city life, this is where you can be perfectly happy doing nothing. The workmanship and passion for detail all around you tell you how much they want to make it a home away from home for you. I’ll never buy a weekend house. I’ll come here! Last time I got so wound down, I didn’t even read. I love the wholesome gluten-free food, the Jacuzzi in the bunkhouse rooms, the twilight, the night sky full of stars and the sunrise, calls of coyotes, distant sound of the train, the dogs and cats relaxing in the sun, and the great conversation… There’s nothing around, but it’s all there. It’s definitely worth going all the way down.

Oh my goodness. First, I had no idea there was a B&B in Celina. Second, what an amazing place. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and just out right enjoyable! I surprised my wife with a night at The Kerr Inn and she loved it!!! We will definitely be staying with them again! Thank you to Tom and Sue for the great hospitality. You are truly amazing people and we look forward to visiting with you again!

The Kerr Inn is a beautifully restored historic home located in peaceful Celina, TX. The home is close enough to the Metroplex for a quick get-away without the huge fuel bill. When you get to The Kerr Inn, you will feel a million miles away from the stress and traffic of the city. Tom and Susan Brenner are fantastic hosts, and they have lovingly restored the Kerr House to better than its formal glory. When I say«they», I mean them personally. All the materials are period correct, including the reclaimed wood flooring. The Brenners did 99% of the work themselves. This is truly a lovely old country home with all the historical charm. Mercifully, the private bathrooms(each room has its own bathroom, hooray!) are modern, and the kitchen is fantastic as well. If you feel the need to connect, the rooms have free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There are two guest cottages located just off the main house as well as the guest rooms inside the main house. It is my understanding that Mr. Brenner built the cottages with his own hands. Quite an accomplishment, as the workmanship and attention to detail are fantastic. There is also a HUGE wrap-around porch around the main house which completes the country theme. When we visited the Kerr Inn, we enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch and visited with our hosts. These are salt of the earth people who are genuinely excellent at hosting. Skip McKinney and head to old Celina the next time you and yours want to get away.
