$ 5 for 5 pours and a free glass?! I loved this little schoolhouse and its charming atmosphere. This is near my cottage and I definitely plan to go back sometime!

Nice Michigan wines and other gourmet goodies. Kitchen serves grilled sandwiches which smelled wonderful. Fudge at the register. Wine tasting fee of $ 5 gets you five small pours and you keep the glass. Only one wine I did not care for and it was a combo varietal that seldom works for me.(I would suggest losing the plastic pour spouts in neon sky blue.) Nice destination for a color drive.

Love this cute little winery! The wines are pretty good, the people are nice, but wines are a little pricy. I go there mostly for there delicious homemade butter fudge(the praline is my favorite, butterfinger is a second close). They also have amazing balsamic vinegar(it’s not made local, it’s from Modena Italy, but it’s one of the best balsamics I’ve had). We’ve also done the wine tour when they show you all the wines in the barrels that are currently aging, you get to sample some of the wines, and they tell you how they make their wines. It was fun and informative, and the guy that was guiding the tour was very knowledgable.

My girlfriend and I make it point to check out the local wineries when we travel. We stopped by Cherry Creek Winery and ended up purchasing the Michigan Cherry Wine. It is absolutely the BEST cherry wine I have ever tasted! I HIGHLYRECOMMEND this place and their high class products!

Well, the winery makes decent wines, but their prices have risen by a lot in the past few years, and the Saturday party events have gone downhill in a big way. It used to be a lot of fun and reasonable prices at those, but they switched to a «buy tickets» concept to get wine and food, and it means you spend 50% more, and you don’t get to sell your tickets back when the night is over. We used to love this place for their music/dancing parties, but no more. Try Sandhill Crane Winery nearby instead.

In the fall my husband and I made a day trip west and stopped by this lovely little winery, which had been suggested by on a Fall Colors Tour. We have enjoyed wineries before, but I must admit it was the phrase«and fudgery» that pulled us in. Wine AND fudge? What could be better?! We were delighted by the friendly and knowledgeable salesman, who helped us sample some of their wines. He wasn’t pushy, which I have found to be the case at other wineries. He even let us sample some that glorious fudge and some cherry salsa… which we caved and bought because it was delicious. The cherry salsa was gone in two days and I don’t think the Butterfinger fudge made it out of the parking lot. Now! The wines were splendid. They have a solid offerings, especially the Raceway Red, which was very well received at a dinner I brought it to. The whites really ended up being more complex flavors, which was nice. I tend not to be a fan of white wines. We bought six bottles and the food and were out the door for under $ 100. I was SHOCKED at how affordable the wine was. You, with the wine from Kroger. Put that down. Buy something quality and local. The website needs a bit of work, but the winery has it down, solid. If you can, pick up a bottle and give them a shot. The salesman said they have a lot of live music on the weekends in the summer, so you can bet we’ll be back!

I have been to this winery a couple of times on a wine tour. The wine is awesome — especially the cherry wine. They also sale other items like fudge, cherry pepper jelly, and cherry salsa. The atmosphere is very charming because the building was an old schoolhouse complete with a steeple and bell. But when you are trying to cram 30 people on a tour in a one room schoolhouse, I think its time for an addition.

It was a so so wine place, some wines are a little too sweet and others and just so so tasting, nothing overly fancy for a wine place. Its the type of wine you drink if you just want a wine taste with an alcoholic kick. Hung out here one evening while visiting friends nearby, and stopped here for music and some wine enjoyment. Overall it was a good turnout.

Wine tasting is fun! There are many ways to do it here. Spend a little $ for 7 tastes of their selections with a comp wine glass to take home. Spend a little more $ and get three tastes of the top shelf stuff with cheese accompaniments. Great events with outdoor concerts on the weekends. Great space inside and out.

On our visit to Jackson, MI wine tasting tour. We decided to stop by here and found that out of all the wineries this wine was the closest to our taste, very good. They had things out to taste(snick snakes) There was no seating inside however there was a large area outside along with a stage. The building it self is an old school house. very charming.
