Went to the local softball game last week– it was the local Rotary club versus the Englewood Lions. Very well lighted ballpark. Plus they have power outlets to help you barbecue your munchies. We watched our friends play ball and had juicy burgers too

This park has everything! Cool Playground for the Kids, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Lots of Green Space, and Awesome Trails. It always seems busy, not too crazy, but it’s obvious this is a favorite park for lots of families and those that keep an active lifestyle! I got a chance to walk some of the trails, and although it could get pretty hot in the sun(depending on the time of year/day), the shade from the trees are well worth the walk. Lots of runners, walkers, cyclists, and although I didn’t see any, there are equestrians too. Watch out for horse poop! :) For the most part everyone seems to follow good trail etiquette and will let you know if they are going to pass. The kids love the playground, and if you like to shoot some hoops or play tennis, this place has everything. Note: parents/guardians need to watch their kids AND make sure they practice good etiquette themselves. If your kid is doing wrong, please discipline accordingly. Just because you kid is on the playground and throwing stuff they aren’t supposed to(and you obviously know this is happening), do something about it. This really is an awesome park! Families and Active Peeps, this is your place!!!

I LOVE this park. The playground is a lot of fun with both tall and small structures to fit all sizes. The stream running through the park is great fun for the kids as well. My favorite is the Highline Canal trail that runs through the park. The surface is flat and smooth and often shaded which makes for the perfect family bike ride.

If you can’t find something to amuse, energize or otherwise engage you, check your pulse. There’s a ball field, tennis courts, playground, pavilions & grills, hiking trails, rec center & plenty of open space. Don’t forget the canal for plenty of adventures for the young and old – just bring your imagination. There are some do’s and don’ts rules to follow, but they are posted. C’mon down & enjoy!

This is an excellent park. From one end with the tennis courts and baseball field to the other near Goodson Rec Center this park is amazing. The Highline Canal runs right past and there are break off trails as well(great for biking, running, or even a pleasant walk). The tennis courts do fill up in the afternoon and at night(the courts are lit by flood lights after 8:00), but other than that I wouldn’t say that the park is ever extremely crowded. There is a little creek that meanders through the park which is nice to walk through on hot summer days.
