We stopped in here on a whim one night(Heads up– it is hard to find at night!) But I am so glad that we found it, because Gejo’s is an Italian food gem! Every item is homemade, and the owner Joe cooks & manages the restaurant with his son. He even introduced himself to our table and brought us complimentary cinnamon rolls! I had homemade noodles with alfredo & Italian sausage, which were absolutely perfect and provided more than enough to take home. Our waitress Erica was knowledgeable, friendly, and hilarious! Great service, incredible food — I will definitely be back!

Food was excellent, no wait but on a weds at 7pm! The service was great from everyone. Extremely large portions so kinda family style! Can’t say enough this didn’t seem like CO staff, they actually care and were very attentive and helpful. Will be returning here monthly!

We go here almost every Saturday night with a group of 8+ and always have great service and food! Joe & Tony do a awesome job managing the restaurant. Joe makes great Lasagna & homemade carrot cake that’s delicious! They have a special at happy hour 3 till 6 for $ 9.95 a large cold beer and a individual pizza with 3 toppings that is excellent & filling. Chicken Parm, spegetti with meat sauce, all salads & eggplant is very good as well. Gejos is Great!

This is a great local spot which serves very good Italian food. The center its in looks like an apartment complex, so don’t be fooled by this. Once inside, you will find warm local hospitality, a great little bar and really good home cooked Italian food. There is a reason this place has been there as long as it has. I had their special lasagna last night and it was incredible.

I was sad when we moved back to Colorado to find Ge Joe’s closed. You made my life by reopening thanks Joe. The best pizza ever.

At the suggestion of a fellow Unilocal reviewer, I decided to try this place again. We dined in this time, and brought the kids. They had two house reds at $ 5.50 a piece: a cab and a merlot. I ordered the cab, and it was exceptional for a house wine. The kids really enjoyed their meals: Spaghetti and cheese sticks. I ordered the Italian salad. I hate cheese sticks. But these weren’t the greasy-fish-stick-breading kind, these were handmade and crispy, and kind of addicting. The sausage was spicy(which I loved but my 4 year old did not), and my salad was enormous, with green chili strips and fresh veggies. It was very relaxed and family friendly, with several large televisions tuned to sports. The bathroom even had stools for the kids to wash their hands. It felt like they’d been coming here for years, and so they agreed that we should all return again. A few weeks later, my husband and I returned alone to try out the bar on a Sunday evening. They had the same, amazing happy hour specials(I ordered the same house red), and my hubs ordered a cocktail. There was quite a wait for a table and they were severely understaffed(and quite apologetic about it). But even so, the service was not lacking. We realized that we couldn’t even tell that they were understaffed, as far as our service went. And we were impressed. This seems to be a hot spot for locals, who have all been coming here for at least a decade(and have different stories about the ownership and management history). The staff knows everyone by name. I love the ease and the friendly faces, and I must admit I feel inclined to stop in for a glass of wine just about every week. I need to try more food next time, but for now we will definitely return.

I am really sad to see some of the bad reviews. One from someone who didn’t even eat there! I think if you know what you are getting with Ge-Jo’s it changes your expectations. Just like hamburgers and Mexican food, there is a wide variety of Italian food. If you go to a lot of the old school«American-Italian» restaurants that have been around forever, you will find food similar to Ge-Jo’s. We found it to be mostly hits… but a few misses. We started with the cheesy bread and they were great. The didn’t give near enough sauce for the amount of bread… but what they gave was sweet and wonderful. I had the homemade spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. Again, wonderful. I also tried the pizza which I absolutely loved their sauce, cheese and dough for flavor. I was a little thrown by their preparation and the amount of air bubbles in both of the pizzas that we received. The air bubbles pushed the cheese and sauce off of large chunks of the pizza. Of all of the other items on the menu that we had(we were a large group of 10), the only one we didn’t like were the Italian nachos.

Great food that is filling, but not greasy… we ate a large meal and didn’t feel yucky afterwards! Our waitress was super friendly and accommodating, offered spectacular service and asked for real, honest feedback from us from the get-go! I ordered the Italian combo plate, but they were out of ravioli, so she said she could sub something else, recommending the eggplant Parmesan. I’ve never had eggplant before, but I decided to just go with it as she said that generally, eggplant can be squishy and bitter, but theirs was not like that at all. This dish is AMAZING! Just lightly battered and smothered with a green chile and Ge Jo’s delicious marinara sauce, oh my God it was good! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoy Ge-Jo’s every time we go. I am a huge fan of the food, despite the unexpected location of the restaurant. You would certainly be wise not to judge this book by its cover. The ambience inside is nice and there are plenty of TVs to watch games if you would like. The pizza is really good, and we especially enjoy creating a ham and pineapple pizza. We also like that they put the pizzas on warmers during the meal. The managers are super friendly and always stop by the table to make sure we are enjoying the food, which is a nice gesture as well. Give these guys a shot and check for a Groupon before you go.

Had a LivingSocial voucher that I needed to use. Lots of free parking. Were seated right away by Mary Beth our server. Only a few other customers so it was comfortable and not loud. Ordered the chicken parmesan, saucy eggplant and half order of the garlic toast. Both entrees came with a house salad. The food was very good but it would have been better with less sauce. All in all, very good Italian comfort food.

My wife and I have been going to GeJo’s for many years and were ecstatic when we saw it was back. The restaurant has been updated and remodeled but they kept the same great pizza! The service was friendly and makes you feel at home– — great neighborhood restaurant.

This restaurant has been here for a long time. The food is mostly your mom and pop Italian. Don’t expect to be blown away, but it will be a pretty good meal. The service is a little slow but friendly, sometimes the manager also makes his rounds. In my opinion it’s a 3 — 3.5 star restaurant but since they managed to keep it together for so long, it’s gotta count for something…

I can’t tell you how impressed I am with Ge Jos! They handled us perfectly and even let the kids sit at a separate table on the other side of the restaurant. The pizza was absolutely amazing and I liked the interesting twist that they put on the Eggplant Parmesan. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody!

I cannot believe anyone would write a decent review about this restaurant. My daughter and I wanted an evening out for Italian food and thought we would try someplace new. We ordered«garlic toast». It was Wonder white bread w/butter on it and marinara sauce out of a jar. Then it went downhill from there. Our«dinner salad» was 3 pieces of limp lettuce leaves that weren’t even cut up. My daughter’s «lemonade» was water with maybe ½ a lemon squeezed in it. Disgusting, we walked out. How a restaurant of this caliber can even keep it’s doors open is amazing.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I went there a few months ago for the first time. Since then, we go every few weeks. Every time we have been there, we have been seated right away and have had excellent service. Absolutely the best Alfredo sauce! Also, I like that they have beef ravioli on their menu which is not common. It is homemade and delicious! :)

Went here tonight with my parents for dinner and while it was different than I remember as a child, I was still pleased. The atmosphere is very much small business/mom and pop but that’s exactly what this restaurant is, and that needs to be considered. Parking is plentiful and they have both an indoor dining room as well as covered patio. While I will say the prices were a little steep($ 15 for lasagna, $ 12 for fettuccine Alfredo) the food was, in my opinion, spectacular. The place is fairly quiet, they have a bartender and 2, maybe 3 servers max, but that’s all they really need. Our server Anamarie was very nice, and GM, Tony came to our table to make sure everything was in order. We chose this restaurant specifically because we wanted to support a local business, and I would say our experience was on par with that. If you want Cheesecake Factory food and portions, then go to Cheesecake Factory. A little pricey, but at least I know my money is going into the community and not a corporate conglomerate. GeJos does happy hour and daily specials, they are definitely worth a look.

I’m so happy Ge-jo’s is back, they have all the same recipes that I remember as a kid. I have been there a few times. The weekly specials are a good buy, Monday is all you can eat spagetti and Wed is my favorite, discount canolis. My only concern is the price point. Without the weekly special, it’s higher than say Mama Romas and I don’t know if it’s any better. Service has been great each time I’ve gone.
