It was a really awkward experience. I had purchased a Denver Daily Deal for 22-day total bikini blast with personal trainer. When I went there the first time I stood and waited by their door on the inside while John Hayter finished telling a coworker a story, then asked me if I needed something which was when I told him that I had an appt with him for a consultation. The consultation consisted of getting my weight and BMI. We set a schedule of when I could come in for my workouts and then I went to my first one a few days later. When I came in, again I had to wait for the conversation to end before they realized I was standing there waiting, and told him that I was there for my first session. Then he pointed to the girl that was supposed to train me, and it turned out that it was a group training session with 5 other people. She shook my hand and then told me to do 100 jump ropes on one foot, and then another 100 on the other foot, and then once I did that to lift a 25lb weigh off the ground and into the air 35 times, then repeat all, then she walked away. Then after a whole lot of other stuff she told me to get on the elliptical for the rest of the time, and then she disappeared and was on her computer for the rest of the time until I left. It was really awkward and impersonal and the workouts were way too hard for me to keep up with having been the first time I have exercised in a long time. I feel more comfortable at 24 hour fitness if that tells you anything. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
