Kathleen M Young, DDS

I have been a patient of Dr. Kathleen Young for over five years and have always enjoyed my experiences in the dental chair and have appreciated her professionalism! She is very good at explaining what is happening with your teeth and making suggestions about what needs to be done in a matter-​of-​fact way of which isn’t pushy. She tells things as they are and doesn’t beat around the bush. Dr. Young and her staff do an incredible job of being proactive in making suggestions to increase the health of your teeth and making you feel welcome and comfortable. The massage pad on the chair is a nice touch, especially when I have to be in the dental chair longer for more serious work! She also has a keen eye for detail, a good sense of humor (at the appropriate times) and amazingly knowledgeable of her craft. You won’t be disappointed!

After going through a couple unsatisfactory chain dental offices, I decided to try Young Family and Cosmetic Dentistry simply because it was close to my house and they accepted my insurance. I’m so happy that I did. From the initial phone call to the one filling that I ended up needing, there wasn’t one thing that I wasn’t satisfied with. The massage pad on the chair during the work was definitely a plus. Additionally, my husband had been quoted thousands of dollars in dental work by his previous dentist. Dr. Young came up with a more conservative and cost effective treatment plan that works much better for us. My young children currently go to a pediatric dentist but I’m planning on switching them over as well when they’re older. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone I know to her office and I’m looking forward to not having to continue switching dentists in the search for a good dental office!

I would disagree with the review that was written below. I think Dr. Young and the staff are very friendly and professional and I appreciate Dr. Young’s precise attention to the procedures she is performing. I have had to have quite a bit of work done on my teeth and although going to the dentist is never anyone’s favorite thing to do, Dr. Young’s office makes it about as good as it can be. Just a couple of perks that you can enjoy are Netflix during procedures, massage chair, and toys for the kids afterwards. If you are looking for an office that makes you feel welcome and has an A+ dentist, Dr. Young is where you should go.
