I feel awful having to write this review of Dr. Kempton’s office because I thoroughly enjoy Dr. Kempton but her new office manager, in the last year to year and a half, has AWFUL customer service. Dr. Kempton’s husband is now the office manager and the front of the office and needs a refresher on customer service. When I have tried to reschedule appointments due to illness in which I could not leave the house, he would charged me cancellation fees and made comments about when you are working you are making money but when you don’t show we don’t make money, how rude! When you go in the office he is rude and condescending as well. The last straw came when after I had my first child and our insurance changed to a carrier they are not a part of, as I had been through the billing headache before with them, so we were switching to my husband’s dentist. In the conversation when I called to have my records transferred he belittled me, argued with me, partially yelled at me and at the end of the conversation actually hung up on me when I gave him my name so he could«take me off his active call list.» In my career I have worked in sales and marketing and the customer service in this office is something that no sales or marketing can overcome until the attitude is handled.
