I love this restaurant. The cuts are thick and the fish is fresh. Now that I’ve been going to Land of Sushi frequently, at their price point, other sushi places can’t compare. I always end up coming back to satisfy my sushi craving. Order their sashimi platter and they also have happy hour all day long with $ 1 per piece nigiri.

We found this place through Westword magazine and it is AMAZING. It is real sushi. The quality is amazing. The rolls are HUGE and the cuts of fish are incredible. We love sushi and I can truly say this is our new sushi spot. The staff is amazing and immediately recognizes the regulars as friends. When we said it was our first time they gave us a $ 10 gift card to come back and use but I can guarantee we will be back probably once a week. Amazing sushi. Amazing staff. Exceptional restaurant.

$ 1 Nigiri all day everyday. Sweet. And for the price, the fish is actually pretty good quality. If you love nigiri you have to come here. And one of my favorites that I always have to order here is the Hamachi kama. Best I’ve had anywhere. Service is also very good. Can’t ask for much more.

Friendly service, wonderful interior without tons of televisions, never a wait time, great lunch and dinner menu, the best tasting sushi I have had in the Denver Metro Area. Definitely a great restaurant for sushi.

The sushi here is pretty good, but I was extremely disappointed last time I got a to-go order. There was a 30 min wait last time I was in, which was understandable since it was a Friday night. As I’m waiting at the front for my food, there was a person smoking and electronic cigarette at the sushi bar. Vapor/smoke just rolling all over the sushi counter. I was pretty surprised that no one was saying anything, so I told the manager. Next after I finally got my food I got all of the way home, I discovered that there was no ginger or wasabi with my four rolls of sushi… Four sushi rolls and not one piece of ginger, and no wasabi… Needless to say I’ll be finding a new sushi spot close to home now.

SO delicious! Came here on a weekday night, about an hour and a half before close. I was seated immediately. The food was insane. This is my favorite sushi in Denver by far. The chefs are super quick and the rolls are gorgeous.

This is an outstanding sushi bar albeit there is not much ambiance. The wait staff is nice and offer to help with your sushi selection. The new chop chop roll and also the unagi roll are some of the best I’ve ever had. Then do not forget to try the the green tea fried ice cream. Itt’s absolutely divine!

One of the best sushi houses as well as chefs in this city and many many others. Land of Sushi has proven time and again to have super fresh, mouthwatering sashimi as well as some of the best rolls. The spicy crispy tuna is amazing! Thank you, Wendy, for making best recommendations ever!

I’ve actually been here before, but it is my first time writing a review for it. The rolls are pretty standard — but definitely try some of the specialized rolls — they’re amazing! I especially liked the Colorado Roll that they recently debuted for a trial run. The food here is overall pretty good(I would say 3.5−4 stars) — I give it a 5 stars due to the quality of service. The first time we went there our server gave us a complimentary hot sake. This most recent time, we ordered some sake and our sneaky sweetheart server noticed it was my boyfriend’s birthday in a few days, so she came out with a birthday banana treat! It was so shocking because I hadn’t said anything to them. I thought it was showing up at the wrong table because I had overheard that they had a birthday at their table. Our server helped serenade my boyfriend and it was delightful.

It’s the best Sushi in Centennial. Love to go there with family and friends. :)

Amazing dinner tonight again, as always. I didn’t have any sushi tonight but opted for the chicken katsu with a tempura app. So, yum. There was so much food and all of it was really good. My dining companions had sushi and said it was fantastic. The past few times we’ve ordered almost exclusively off the menu items and have been delighted every time. Service was prompt, friendly, and anticipatory of our needs. Because we order off the menu, it’s pricier than normal, but worth every cent. I love the consistent high quality of sushi and service.

I’m pretty sure this is going to be our go to sushi spot in the neighborhood. We dined here for the first time last night and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Ordered the sushi & sashimi for two and it was spot on. They also brought us a complimentary tempura banana dessert. Being at the sushi counter didn’t hurt either — the chefs were entertaining to watch and gave us tobiko with quail egg to try. Quick and friendly service from the waitstaff. Highly recommend!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had, ever. Also the best I’ve had since I moved to Colorado. Small place, great prices and you get generous portions of fish/sushi. My husband and I drove up from Colorado Springs and I will gladly make that drive again for great quality sushi. One highlight of that day was the rainbow roll. I’ve never had a rainbow roll that tasted so good. Only down side was that there was awful dance music playing, that was rather distracting.

I started coming to Land of Sushi when they first opened. I was suspect because I was the sushi snob! Since then I’ve come to realize that they have just as fresh fish as sushi den. Always ask what the fresh fish of the day is. See my photos! Wow! Really yummy! :-)

Walking in, you wouldn’t suspect this would be a five-star worthy restaurant but alas, thanks to some really tasty sushi, reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere, I really can’t think of a reason to not give it five stars! Myself and three friends headed here for an overdue catchup. We started with the spicy edamame because I’m an edamame fan and an even bigger spicy fan. These were truly unique, with a tangy ginger dressing that was strangely addictive. From there, a friend and I split the deep-fried signature Hamachi Orange Roll and New York Roll. Oh my goodness! There’s a reason the Hamachi is their most popular. I’m usually not one to go for the fried stuff at sushi restaurants, but this was worth it… Slightly spicy due to the balsamic and jalapeño mango sauce, warm and delicious. The New York Roll was topped with a thick piece of some of the freshest salmon I’ve had in awhile. It had me hoping I could order a plate of sashimi because you can tell the fish alone is that good. It is a small restaurant and there seemed to be more than enough waiters around. It’s not the cheapest sushi you’ve ever had, but it also won’t taste like the cheapest sushi you’ve ever had. What a hidden gem!

Land of Sushi was so good, I went here four times in the last two weeks I was in Denver. Thank goodness for business trips! The servers and sushi chefs were incredibly friendly and they accommodated all my requests from double miso instead of rice to wrapping a slice of mango around a banana before making it tempura. ALL of the sushi I devoured(sashimi, rolls) was of superior quality and fair portions. Kudos to Land of Sushi for doing it all right considering how far away the ocean is from Denver!

A no frills sushi choice. Everything appears streamlined with an emphasis on good sushi and good sushi only. The interior is even smaller than it looks from its strip shopping center outside. On one hand, the Spicy Crispy Tuna appetizer was one of the most amazing items I’ve had at a sushi restaurant in a while. It’s a warm, crunchy concoction of tuna, rice, avocado, and delicious sauce. I’ll go back just for that. On the other hand, the Crazy Tuna Roll was one of the more disappointing rolls I’ve had in a while. It’s listed as tempura on the menu, but the tuna mixed with avocado resulted in unappealing mushy bites for my taste. The nigiri slices were all large and fresh. A solid sushi choice overall. The appetizer menu appears to be their specialty.

My family has been going to this restaurant since it opened over 10 years ago. The staff is amazing and recognizes us everytime we come in. The sushi is truly the best sushi to get in Denver. Their prices are insanely low for the quality of food! Restaurant has been SO busy lately so come early or prepare to wait! It is well worth it. My favorite roll is the Dancing Roll — I can eat it all!

A small to medium sized Japanese restaurant that has fresh written all over it! We went tonight and wow! Located in a small unassuming strip mall, you will find Land of Sushi. The sushi and sashimi for 2 will fill you up! Generous cuts of fish and chef’s special roll really does the trick! Many families were dining there tonight and everybody was having a good time! Kids too! Soup is good, salad is yummy and sushi… it melts! The rolls were excellent as well! The service deserves huge kudos too! I will be back with many more people in tow. You would think some sushi restaurant in the suburbs would be just ho hum. That’s until Land of Sushi came along! Denver sushi, YOU have some heavy competition now!
