I had a unit here for 2years. The deal seems great when you walk in. Free this, cheap that, Vet discount, etc. Then you start getting notes in the mail saying that the unit price is going up. You’ve only had the unit for a month, and you call and they say«oh, it’s to remain competitive with the market.» When you call other places, they aren’t going up. Then, almost every month, you get a letter saying that the unit is going up. At this point, you’re stuff is there, and your only choice is to move it or deal with the hostage situation and pay their incredible prices. The only way they will keep the payment the same is if you pay for a year in advance. THEN, if you rent from the 6th-the 6th, you pay for the whole month, still have to give a 10day notice, then they keep the remaining month regardless of if you move out. I was very glad to have my stuff back and to be done with this entire group of pirates!

Rented a storage unit. Their contract is old school and you have to give a 10 day notice plus pay a full month even if you use only one day of the month — so they don’t pro-rate like all other storage rental companies in the area do but instead charge a full month. It’s in the contract so fine but we paid a full month even though we used only one day of it and when we decided to store some things in the unit for the month, we found that our code was disabled so we couldn’t enter the facility. When I emailed them, I was told it was because the unit was empty. Locking me out of my unit because it’s empty is shady and it’s clear to me they rented it out to someone else and got paid twice.
