Recently moved close by and have a liquor store that is literally over the road, however I take the orchard exit sometimes off Parker and found this one on route when we had fiends coming over that evening so stopped in to try it. It strange to say that service matters in a liquor store as I never thought I’d really care when buying a few beer and a bottle of wine, but it does and the guys that own this place are all about it. They seem to have made a genuine effort to find drinks that are appealing to people as different without going crazy with green beer etc. I loved the fact that they have English beers, european wines and a cheeky fridge off the back that has almost everything you want on the floor, but chilled. I know, I know, this is what you get in most liquor stores, but when the guys that own it want to show it off and are proud of the place, it makes you want to come back! This is my only liquor store from here on in

I was beginning to think all liquor stores were the same until I found this little gem. The owner is very helpful and you are always greeted with a smile. He immediately offers help and doesn’t expect you to beg for assistance like the liquor store mentioned in the previous post. The prices are on par with the so called discount stores too. I’ll go out of my way to come here.

After a tasty breakfast at Doug’s Day Diner next door, I popped in to check out the new liquor store. They have been open about two weeks. The store is new, and shiny, and clean. Although somewhat modest in size, it seems that some definite thought went into what they would stock. I saw a decent selection of craft beers during my relatively brief visit. Unlike some of the smaller and more isolated liquor stores to which I have been, they do not seem to have the almost obligatory «extra buck or two» pricing on the beer and other items. I picked up a six-pack of Moose Drool for about what I normally pay at Parker Payless liquors. It actually cost me less, since they are running a special of 10% off six-packs until November. They are also doing a 15% discount on 750ml bottles of wine and liquor.
The owner and proprietor (Sudir) was friendly and helpful. This is a convenient location for me. I have no doubt that I will be back in the future.
