Staybridge Suites Extended Stay Hotel Denver Tech Center

I’ve stayed at other extended stay locations/​brands that had nicer properties and awesome breakfast bars so it’s hard to erase those from my memory. Better than a hotel/​motel but not awesome for an extended stay, 3 nights was as long as I would want to stay here.
Pros
Rooms are clean and nicely decorated
Bed (firm) and pillows were super comfortable. Really appreciate that nothing was down — thank you!

Breakfast bar — continental with 2 hot items — usually scrambled eggs or egg bake (which was really good!) with some sort of meat (bacon, sausage patty). Waffles were good. Other items were low quality — bagels, muffins, bread, limited fruit, dannon yogurt, etc. Nice they offer it but not the greatest — maybe 1 step above a motel continental breakfast?
Cons
Room layout is a little strange — no dresser drawers for clothing in bedroom — only dresser is in main room so you have to walk out into the main room to get your cloths after a shower
No comfortable common areas to hang and/​or smoke — yes there is a small lobby area where the breakfast bar is but it’s more like a hotel than extended stay area. No smoking areas — everyone sits on the steps outside the doors.
New hotel was being put up right next door which meant lots of construction guys mulling around the parking lot. Also, windshield of my car had a big chip in it one morning and it was facing the construction zone.

We stayed here back in July of last year and it was a great enough experience that I thought I always meant to go back and review this place for others. First of all, I absolutely detest dirty hotels — this place was VERY clean. Looked great and well kept, everything clean (believe me I looked). Also, the staff was super helpful at the front desk. They were busy and he was trying to help a lady find another place to stay as they were booked up. The line was backing up with reservation customers, but he kept his cool. He helped the lady out, but even during the wait he made eye contact with the people in the line letting them know he would be right with us. Check in was super easy with no issues. The room was spacious and with the kids I could shut them up in the separate room while Mom and Dad stayed up a little while longer. The staff was very helpful with the kids everywhere we went, opening doors, advising us on places to go. No indoor pool (so sad for the kiddos), but that is the only negative thing I can say. Also, the breakfast was fantastic. We typically book hotels with a free breakfast and expect very little, right? This was way better than I anticipated and over the three days we stayed it was nice to talk to the kitchen guys as they were nice and polite. Overall, I would definitely recommend you stay here. Unless you don’t want a good breakfast and a clean room.

The rating of three stars is applied this done standard Hotel rating scale comparing 4+ type hotels this one is a three star nothing more nothing less… If the price is right I would not hesitate to book this hotel if you are very price conscious as we are… I will settle for one star less of a hotel as long as the price is right I don’t look for a Marriott Hyatt four-​star type hotel if I can get a three-​star hotel for half the price. This hotel met those requirements based on a bidding war with Priceline that we offered a very low price and were able to secure this particular hotel and location that we wanted. Definitely a good deal for the money that we spent…

Been staying here for the past few weeks and can say that I’m a fan. The folks at the desk are friendly, beds are comfortable, rooms are and the only know is that the breakfast is terrible and the work out center is very small.

If I gave this hotel a 3 star, you would think it was a 3 star hotel. Eh, not by my standards, but maybe AAA.
The best part of this hotel is the location. (Always start with a compliment, right?)
The breakfast area is a step above continental. You are able to make your own waffles, but they only have one waffle iron and when I was there, the line was so long, it wouldn’t have hurt them to invest in an additional iron.
The bed has the hardest mattress I have EVER slept on. This place shouldn’t legally be allowed to have such uncomfortable mattresses without providing a mattress top for those that NEED soft or half-firm.The front desk does not provide any assistance in this.
Laundry services are free, but the hotel charges $ 2 per load for laundry detergent if you purchase from them. Again, not sure how legal this is, since they are selling a trial size of TIDE. I am sure it is written on the sides «Not for individual sale».
The cleaning crew is clearly overstaffed. Someone comes to take out the trash, another person comes to take out all the used towels, and a third person comes to makes up the bed and replace the towels. When I had to work from the hotel, the disturbances became a little more than I could bear. Plus, they don’t change the sheets unless you REQUEST a full cleaning. How disgusting!

First time staying at this hotel and I was impressed. Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet. Great free breakfast. At the last minute my dog sitter canceled, so I had to bring her along. However, this was not a problem. They changed my room to the «pet wing». Friendly staff. Good parking and close to everything. What more could you ask?

My suite was great. I was very comfortable in my room and, for the most part, it was pretty quiet.
I like the fact that they serve free breakfast every morning. Definite plus.
They, also, serve an evening get together (happy hour) Tuesday through Thursday. Nice idea. So, I thought I’d check it out… uhhhh, no. I thought it was going to be a professional networking sort of thing… nope. Some of the guests were rowdy and I didn’t feel safe to be around the lobby.
I like the idea of networking, but, maybe, the hotel should have a two drink limit.
But, based off of my room experience, I’ll give this hotel another try, if I’m back in the area.

The food is one of the lures for staying here but it’s rotten. Literally. The yogurt was weeks past expiration and one of the bagels had green mold growing on it. The printer didn’t work and the hallways were always dirty. The staff was super nice but with mold on food you get one star. If you only pay a hostel rate for your stay and expect that level then you’d be alright here otherwise find somewhere else.

Modern and clean rooms. Breakfast everyday and not a Days Inn breakfast. Eggs, sausage, fruit, bisquits and gravy, waffles. Also free dinner Tuesday-​Thursday including free wine and decent beers.

Like the previous poster I had never heard of this hotel until booking the room using hotwire (incredible rate of $ 54.00 per night) Located in a quiet surburban area, but close to major highways to denver, airport and Park Meadows Mall. The suite was very roomy and has a nice kitchen complete with full size fridge/​freezer/​ice maker, oven, stove, sink and dishwasher. Comes stocked with everything you need. Has a nice workout room with eliptical, as well a free self service laundry area. Each morning there is a breakfast with a good assortment of breakfast items. Tues-​Thursday they have beer & wine and a themed buffet. All of the staff I interacted with were polite and professional. I felt comfortable, safe and happy staying at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget friendly, nice place to stay while in Denver on business or pleasure.

To tell you the truth I had never heard of this place prior to booking it. Now that I have I am so glad. The first night we got there was a Wednesday and they had dinner with wine or beer included in the cost of your room. Free dinner every night Mon — Friday. Plus hot breakfast everyday and I meant eggs (real eggs), sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, yogurts, fresh fruits, and an assortment of breads and cereals.
This place is a definite repeat if I ever have to stay somewhere again.
