Worst service ever! Omg! I came here with two of my friends. What has blown my mind is when the bartender only took one of my friends order for lunch, then walked away! When she brought her food, I was in shock, «can we order too?» We also sat for at least 15min without a drink and so did everyone else around us while the bartender was chatting with one guest(who also had an empty beer). They weren’t busy at all, 10ppl in entire place with two bartenders on duty. Service is below standard by far.

Fewer frat boys than the downtown version, but nothing special… and the view… well, you’re looking at IKEA and I-25 mostly. Service is usually slow and rude… drinks and food are meh!

We are visiting friends for the weekend and they recommended trying this out. We went Saturday evening and had a great time. The atmosphere was fun with multiple TVs, a game area, and different floors. We had Drew as our server and he was excellent. I recommend the wings, we continued ordering more because they were so good! We had such a good time we went back for brunch the next morning. We did not sit downstairs for the full brunch, but it looked amazing(shrimp, crab legs, lobster, and other stations). We sat upstairs which has such a great view. I want to go back in the summer when the garage doors on the second level open up. We had $ 4 mimosas and great service from Lindsey.

This is our first time here at this Viewhouse for the Sunday buffet. Today was a perfect day to come. Parking was available and we were seated within 10 minutes. It wasn’t packed at all, roughly 4 tables were occupied. Service — You would think the server would be right over to get you drinks. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes later for one server to ask, «Who is your server?» Of course our answer none. 5 to 10 minutes later we get a server asking us what we like to drink. Food — they did have a good selection of food to choose from: cocktail shrimps, crab legs, lobster, a selection of breakfast items(eggs, sausage, burrito, potatoes, omelet station), pasta, risotto, smoked salmon, sushi, flat bread pizzas and last but not least a selection of desserts. FYI — drinks are not include with your buffet price. Considering we like our crab legs and lobster tails served warm, we will not come back for the buffet.

Went for lunch during the week since the times I had tried to go for dinner it was a mess just to get into the parking lot. We were seated right away and quickly got drinks coming. The menu was more limited than I expected but it could have been a lunch one. Ended up getting a burger and it was decent but nothing to right home about. The fries were good but smaller quantity then I expected. The atmosphere is what I expected from a sports bar. We didn’t get to sit on the upper level which I suspect has the awesome views but overall a nice place. May try again for dinner and update review.

Went for their seafood mountain brunch with a friend. Place was nice and clean, staff was nice, and mostly on top of things. The problem was the price and the selection, or lack thereof. There were also a few items that were inedible and a few that werent especially appetizing-looking or sounding. Blech! AND, I dont know if this bothers anyone else but the crab and lobster served is COLD!!! Double blech!!! Seriously? For $ 30 there better be HOT crab legs and lobster with plenty of drawn butter! Not enough other selections to make up for the price. Dessert selection and taste was meh too. My friend agreed that place was nothing but hype and it was our first and last time there and we do brunch often! Oh yeah, on a positive note I almost forgot to mention… my Bloody Mary was quite nice!

Meh… Our server was friendly and on point. The food was definitely something I would skip in the future. Everything tastes like it’s been sitting and they warmed it up in the microwave. Asked about shot specials and the response was«oh I think we have some left over shots from the bronco game from two days ago» uuuuuummmm no thanks. Lol wtf? I don’t even know what to say or think about that.

The reason parking is an issue is because when the lot is full, and you don’t have cash to tip valet, you are forced to park a block down and across a fairly busy road. The food was overpriced and just meh. You pay for the view… if you’re lucky enough to see it.

I always like to check the Unilocal ratings before I visit a new spot. Why oh why didn’t I take the Unilocalers advice on Viewhouse? This place is laughable! We had the brunch buffet which is roughly $ 30 per person. Seems like an OK price until you taste the food and experience the awful service. Portions of the brunch buffet reminded me of a «free continental breakfast» from your off-the-highway motel. Hard bagels, cold eggs and bacon, cheap out of the box desserts, seafood that smells/tastes as if it has been in the fridge for a few weeks and they charge you an extra $ 3 for a coffee when you just paid $ 30 for the mediocre buffet! The straw that broke the camels back for us though, we were literally pressured to hurry up and finish due to our table having a «reservation» for football games. Really?!? Rude, expensive, poor service which likely means poor upper management. You know those moments after you have had too much to drink the night before and you say to yourself«I am never drinking again»…that is usually not the case. But we will NEVER be Viewhousing again, and we mean it!

Without going into a ton of detail, Courtney and Ally took amazing care of me and my multiple friends at this bar! Courtney was the most enjoyable bartender and she went above and beyond to make 100% sure that I had a amazing time! She even lent me her phone charger(which I accidentally stole) to charge my phone! You never know when momma is gonna call!!! I haven’t had the best luck at this place but Courtney is the best bartender here! If you come here, ask for Courtney and top her well! I doubt they pay her enough!!! She rocks!!!

NYE: What a ripoff! I was tempted to contact the manager the next day but let it go. They can choose to contact me after reading this if they so choose. Read N M’s review: completely spot on! And to that I would like to add: #1 the champagne toast: that was the cheapest crap I have ever had. I had two sips and left the rest; it was THAT bad! #2 party favors: those paper/plastic horns and paper tiaras plus the 1.5″ of cheap champagne and the honor of getting in the door was what $ 25(plus service fee) got me? Oh, and the joy of trying get through the 5+ people deep at the bar to get a drink(I will say the one bartender(20−30s, dark short hair, male) I dealt with was pleasant and kept his cool despite the huge crowd) The band was good, but they deserve the credit, not Viewhouse. Much of the staff was a bit rude. It could be the throngs of people stressed them out, but you are in the hospitality business; be hospitable! I was pushed several times by staff(waitstaff, I think) when I wasn’t even in the way(I am careful to check my surroundings, which was WAYOVERCROWDED! and that is the event planner’s fault, not mine) When one female staff was holding the box offering«party favors», my friend removed a horn that was crushed, so put it back to select another and was told«NO! You have to take what you got!» The sad thing is that I have heard good things about Viewhouse and my experience is based on this single event that appeared to be oversold(over 2,000 people in that building… I know because I inquired as to capacity levels and was told that the posted capacity was for each level) I paid for two drinks and left my tiara and horn there. I would like my $ 25 and three hours back! My friend wants to go to watch a game. She said she has heard good things as well. I’ll give in one more shot and if that experience is better, I’ll leave a new review.

I am giving one star because I can’t go any lower: We went to the View House last night for New Years Eve… trust me, NEVER again, and here’s why: 1– website said you had to buy tickets online in advance. There were the $ 25 entry tickets, or $ 69 tickets that included 5 drinks. The $ 25 tickets were sold out. We purchased the $ 69 ones. When we arrived they were allowing people to pay at the door for regular entry. WEWERESCAMMED! 2-The coat check line was 30 – 40 people deep with only three people working it. Spent twenty minutes in dropping off and retrieving coat. 3-Trust me when I say I know a little something about capacity… the entire venue was dangerously well over capacity. Had there been an emergency more people would have been killed or injured due to trampling. 4– The bathroom was at least clean because of the attendant. But because of the number of people it took forever to use. 5-Remember I mentioned the five drink tickets? No where on the website did it mention particular exceptions to the kinds of drinks. So bartenders seemed to make up the rules as to what the tickets would cover and what they wouldn’t. 6-Don’t even get me started on the over service of liquor to obviously overly obnoxiously intoxicated people. Even more surprising was watching the valets actually physically assist obviously intoxicated people to get behind the wheel. SERIOUSLY??? 7– At the end of the evening we were seated waiting for the coat check lines to lessen when a woman employee approached us and began barking at us in a very disrespectful tone to leave. Fortunately, two male employees, embarrassed by her tone, quickly approached us and respectfully asked us to begin leaving. 8-going back to the overcapacity issue, both dance floors, on the upper and lower levels, were way too small for the number of people in attendance. This created a great deal of tension among people who were trying to dance. Several fights almost broke out. 9– there was no obvious or visible form of security in the venue, with the exception of the front door entry. Which actually was pretty efficient. 10-liquor licenses require the sale of food. Other than the pre-reserve dinners that were going on in the back area, there was no way to order food. This obviously contributed to folks becoming more intoxicated and belligerent. 11-There were several public safety professionals there as guests… many of whom left before midnight for fear of something bad happening. CONCLUSION: it was obvious that the safety and security, and the overall enjoyment of those in attendance, was not a priority of management. The priority was to dangerously stuff as many people into its building in order to make as much money as possible. Customer service was not a priority. This will be my last visit to the view house. It was not the way to bring in the new year! My only good memory of the View House was leaving!

It wasn’t amazing, but it certainly didn’t win any major awards with me either. This night we had stopped by for a work dinner and ordered a bunch of food. The miniature hot dogs were amazing, the appetizers were amazing! Now when it comes to the entrée’s they were a bit lackluster. I felt that my chicken and waffles were not up to par with what they had hyped it up to be. The chicken was dry, the waffles weren’t that great, and the whole meal just didn’t tickle my fancy. Regardless, the service was good, our server did mess up a bit with the bill, but nothing crazy. I’ll probably return when I’m in Centennial.

Been here several times for the people and atmosphere. Out of all the food we’ve tried, by far, the best is their wild mushroom tacos! On Mondays during football season, CBS hosts Bronco players and interviews them live. You can sit in the audience and possibly get photos and autographs! We’ve also been here for multiple weekend parties. Not bad for DTC! Biggest downfall is probably parking. Ugh– they have so many reserved valet spots that go unused. Be sure to carpool if you’re with a group.

I called to make a noon reservation since this was for a business meeting. The host suggested dining upstairs, so I took her advice. Checking in was painless. The table was immediately ready, and service was efficient. We ordered salads and added salmon… nothing was amiss and yet nothing really stood out either. Overall, the views and experience were good, but nothing special. I usually have a lot more to add about a restaurant but in this case, it was just a very average experience and I am not sure I would return unless there were some compelling reason to do so.

Great vibe, great atmosphere, great food, get service. We’ve been wanting to come here for a while since it opened and finally got a chance to spend a date night here. The place was energetic even for a Monday night. We ordered off the happy hour menu and we’re pleasantly surprised. The drinks were great and so were the all the apps. Overall a great experience.

My wife and I decided to check this place out, despite the awful reviews all over the Internet. Thing is, we got these«good neighbor gift cards» at the local chalk art fair, and decided you couldn’t go wrong with free food. Well, after spending half an hour just trying to get our check, we found out that the gift cards were a complete bait-and-switch scam. I have added photos of the paper the cards were attached to that clearly say«this card is loaded with $ 20» — with the view house logo and everything. But that is NOT what the card is at all. It’s just a sort of membership rewards card, and of course they don’t tell you this until you’ve eaten your meal and want to check out. Seriously, that is how you bring in customers? Trick them? And call it being a «good neighbor?» That just adds insult to injury. The owners of this company obviously have no concept of morals, and judging by the reviews, that kind of attitude trickles down big time. AVOIDLIKETHEPLAGUE!

Do not go for the view. There is no view. The view is of I-25, billboards, and buildings. Someone put up a photo-shopped picture that makes it look like the mountains are close. They are not. Don’t be fooled! They also play the music very loud to drown out the traffic noise from I-25. So, no view, very loud. These things are important to know before you go. Service. They made us wait for 15 minutes for no reason. We could see plenty of open tables. I’m guessing they were understaffed. Either that, or they wanted to seem busier than they were. Our server was cool, but total«dude bro»(glasses on back of head a la Guy Fieri style, «yo what’s up» kind of greeting). He didn’t know what the seasonal/rotating beers were and guessed. He guessed wrong and ended up bringing the wrong beers. We know the difference between a wheat bear and an IPA, but he did not. Food. They were pushing a brunch buffet that reeked of a fishy smell. Maybe they had crab legs or something, but it made the whole restaurant smell bad, and it’s a big place. We ordered some appetizers and they were all just okay. American style bar food. The outdoor patio on the main floor was really cool looking. If I was ever forced to return, it would be solely to hang out in this area. Waterfalls, games, outdoor sofas, fire pits. Looked like fun. Next time, if there is one.

UPDATE: — They take reservations — even for happy hour. — The patio is now surrounded in glass, rather than an open roof, as before. Be ready for the greenhouse effect to the fullest. — The food is very very average. Nothing special. — Drinks are the best part — overpriced, but not bad :) try the Viewhouse Mule! — Service is hit or miss — just be prepared to flag down your waiter for anything you need. Overall — this place is worth the experience [like once] but not worth visiting over and over again.

The Viewhouse, its like paying your insurance every month, you don’t enjoy paying it, but when you need it, its there. Very similar to the Viewhouse, you end up having a decent time. However, I say that with a caveat. Don’t go on a weekend night. The views of the mountains, from the patio are amazing. The thing that is really a bummer, is the staff isn’t very personable. You can tell they work their butts off, but at the end of the day, they just want to make money off of you. If you don’t come back, they don’t care, they know for every one person that doesn’t come back, two more people will be there. I truly hope they can turn around their service, they have a prime location in the DTC, they have a prime venue, but they have top three WORSE service that I have ever experienced. I would compare it to Spirit Airlines. Step your game up Viewhouse, you can do WAY better than this…
