Senix Creek

We have been going to Senix regularly for over two years. The staff are amazing. Outside bartender and his barbacks are friendly courteous and never leave your glass empty. The food is fantastic, flounder and clams, oysters, ect we have tried them all and are never disappointed.

Probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. Filthy. Wait staff was disheveled and dirty looking. Food was horrendous. Ordered the pulled pork dinner. It was terrible. Sweet potato fries were passable but I couldn’t tell what the dip was that came along with it. My husband got mahi tuna was just okay. Waitress spilled the sauce for it all over the floor so it was missing a little something. Overall a terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend this very sad excuse for a restaurant. The one star is because it’s on the water!

We went to dinner last night. I always order the marinated hamburgers. It is the best on Long Island in my opinion. Don’t try anything else. The food is mediocre at best. The drinks are made very strong. Take the hair right off your tongue.
It has a nice patio outside and live music on the weekends. It is a nice hang out to go with friends. Stick to beer

I would like to share a very disturbing incident that happened to me last nite to clear up any confusion that might be out there anyone that knows me im friendly to others treat everybody with respect and i go out to enjoy myself laugh and have a good time with friends old and new i went to senix creek inn in center moriches last evening to meet with friends and never even got past the door I was treated like a piece of garbage of the street by the apparent owner of this establishment. the man said ten dollars cover which to clea rup any misunderstanding I had absolutely no problem with that and never said anything i simply (said in a very friendly manner with a smile on my face like I do when ever I speak to people) we are eating here (which I had all intensions of doing) do we still have to pay ten dollars he said no but very nastily right in my face but if you don’t eat I assure you I will be putting a twenty dollar service fee on your bill I said sir why are you being so nasty he replied as he got right in my face you wanna play you gotta pay I also had accidently walked in with my twenty ounce gingerale instead of saying mam you cannot bring that in here iwould have apologize n threw it away instead he yanked it out of my hand and replied your not sneaking vodka into my bar isaid I have no alcohol why dont you smell it he again made horrible nasty comment well obviously I wasent going to stay at this horrible place I relieid am leaving im not going to be treated this way by anyone he replied you might want to watch the step you might fall (insinuating I was drunk which I absolutely was noti just i
came from work he then replied go back to mastic where you came from I live in Patchogue not that it even matters i can not believe I was treated so horribly he also pushed me ou tof the bar with his back and was in my face the whole time I really thought he was gonna hit me i cannot believe this man owns this establishment an would treat another person like this I wil lnever step foot in this place again and to all my friends im so sorry i missed the party I hope you all had fun

I really wanted to like this place. The locals seem to rave about it, but after visiting this past Friday, I have no idea why. We were unable to sit outside (busy, so I thought that was a good sign…), so we were sat in a desolate dining room with 1 other table, and a RIDICULOUSLY loud and very drunk man at the bar, who was shouting at the Keno result. I will say the service was pleasant, and attentive. The inside needs a little bit of a face lift, it’s pretty dated looking, with many coats of paint. I really did not like the food. We started with the coconut shrimp. It was generic, and looked to be pre-​made/​frozen. My dish came with a side salad, which was fine, but SUPER tiny. It might have been the best part of the meal. My boyfriend got the Pub Burger, which he said was «fine», so I can’t elaborate on that. I got the twin lobster tails, and I really didn’t enjoy it at all. The vegetables (green beans) were soggy and bland in color (indication of being canned or sitting around for way too long, or being reheated multiple times) and the rice was nothing special, seemed on par with what you’d get out of a box mix. The lobster tails, OH GOD WHAT A WASTE! They were cooked to the point of tough dry rubber bands. One tail had some black areas, which I have no idea what caused, or if it was ok to eat, but I wasn’t going to find out. Even the drawn «butter» that came with it, didn’t taste like butter, maybe butter flavored oil? I’m not sure, but the meal was really unsatisfying. I hope that they can make improvements, but given how busy the outdoor area is, I’m sure the food is just an after thought, and the money is made on alcohol. Side note, the drunk guy was being served shots when we were leaving, so I hope he had a DD. In the end, I left paying $ 80 for a meal I wished hadn’t happened.

We ordered the Seaford melody, 12 Clams, 6 jumbo shrimp, 6 muscles, linguini. Awesome. Fast service with great sunset views. Will return.

Came here for the live music our friend was playing in. We did the appetizers and beer. Food was good and service was too. Right on the marina

Nothing special. The only decent items were fried. We sent back the stuffed clam appitizer (gross). I had the Dockside trio, lobster roll was decent but the other two were inedible. I didn’t send them back since we already sent the clams back. I would not recommend this place for the food. It has a good bar and great water view.

Wow, I have to say what an improvement. We have visited here a few times over the years and it has always been up and down. We went there on ¹¹⁄₂₃ and we had a great dinner. Everything was awesome. The place was pretty empty but overall we were so impressed. The food and service were great. We will definitely go back and visit the place again. The fish dish and chicken dish were top quality and tasted awesome. I have to give credit where credit is due.

Some food is great and some is not. I’ve been here several times and must say service in the restaurant area needs to be improved tenfold: slow, un-​knowledgable, cranky. Sit at the bar and you’re fine.

Stopped by for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday on a Wednesday night. Arrived to find no one else but the folks invited, so assumed we’d rented the space out — false, as we’d later learn when the crowd rolled in unusually late (for a weeknight anywhere on LI, let alone west of Nassau). The jukebox bleared through the speakers, contrasting the subdued and tiny pre-​11pm crowd. Granted, I always prefer curating my own playlist, so even though soundtrack was commandeered into an EDM hijack, at least I knew some pop radio DJ wasn’t responsible (even if cost was involved). Bartender was friendly and games were at the ready around the bar. Nice space, minus the single-​chaired date rape table adjacent to the jukebox and restrooms, ominously jammed into the back corner.

I’m going to overly detailed here because we went here for a special occasion (our 12^th anniversary). We had our 10 month old son with us, which was fine. They had no issue with high chairs or anything so I would consider them family friendly.
I don’t remember how we stumbled on the place because it’s very much off the beaten path. To our surprise it was located right next to a marina — nothing about their website mentions this. It was really quiet for a Saturday night. Like 6 full tables and a handful of people at the bar quiet. Our waitress was really sweet but the place seemed overstaffed and the service was slow considering — but good.
The food tasted fine but the menu wasn’t anything extravagant — most of the dishes seemed like variations of the others. I had the flounder, my fiancé had the special, which was skirt steak topped with blue cheese. Both were delicious but nothing special. The 2 items on the menu that we tried that WERE different (fried pickles app and candy pie desert) were so delicious that I wish the place had a more unique menu.
A few minutes before we left we somehow ended up chatting with the owner. She was actually really sweet and explained that the business was entirely seasonal and that they get packed in the summer — which makes sense with the marina.
All in all I thought the place was good and we will most likely go back. I do however, feel that underneath the not so special menu and mediocre décor, the place could be so much more!

This place is more of a summer place but its still pretty good during the off season. The food is good and the service was good. People were very nice and they give pretty hefty portions.

Not bad food and drinks. They have outdoor bar and boat dock. That’s nice to be outside during summertime.

I love Senix Creek Inn. Always a good meal. You can get your basic fish and chips and chowder, or they have nightly specials that are yummy. They have entertainment on weekends. Something for all. My friends and I like to have dinner and then some local fun dancing with Michael Jackson music or line dancing to Country music. Wear jeans or dress up!

Basic food, limited menu, odd atmosphere. They make a good burger so the outside patio overlooking the marina isn’t a bad spot in the summer. But as an off season restaurant, don’t recommend
