Tip Nail

Really one of the most awful nail experiences I’ve ever had. I asked for a French manicure with an apple on one finger. After asking everyone else in the store if they could draw an apple on my finger they resorted to putting some weird sticker on my nail with glue that didn’t even bend. I made her take it off and just do nothing. Then I leave and my nails are literally bubbling through the polish and it looks awful. Not worth the price to sit there and be talked about and receive a poor quality of experience.

I got a manicure done and it was filled with bubbles when I got home. went back to get a refund and they said they would only be willing to redo the manicure. I did not have time to do this as I had to catch a train and they did not care. They were not accommodating in the slightest especially when they had done such a poor job initially.

1^st time at this place. Walked in and not even greeted with a hello. Just pick a color pick a color. My mom and I were both getting a mani/​pedi. My mom was done in 30 min. My girl was a very young looking girl. She also did not say hello to me not once. Place was not that clean and very unorganized. On 2 of my toes you can still see the old black nail polish I had prior. My nails have bubbles on them after being dried. So overall I’m Not impressed and instead of complaining to fix etc… I will not be a returning customer.

After all these years, I’ve remained loyal to Tip Nail. I finally found the one lady who I’ll stick with forever: Lynn. She takes her time and if she messes up, will go back until she gets it perfect. She gave me the best foot/​calf massage as well as a hand massage during my mani/​pedi recently. All for $ 16 any day of the week.

The reason I chose this particular salon was because I heard about the special they had for mani/​pedis. I went on a Monday and it was $ 14 (for both). I decided to add French tips (otherwise I just assume do my own nails if I just want a single color). They added $ 4 to for the French pedi and another $ 4 for the French mani. My total cost for both was only $ 22. Not bad at all, but you do get what you pay for. As far as my experience goes, I sat down for a pedicure at the same time as another girl and the woman that did her nails (I found out later that her name was Lynn) took her time and was gentle on her. Unlike Lynn, the girl that did my nails (I didn’t catch her name) seemed a little disgruntled and rushed through my pedicure. Between the super course nail file, the scrub brush and the cuticle trimmer it was not a very comfortable or relaxing experience. A couple of times I said «Ouch!» when she was too rough and she didn’t apologize once. My nails did look pretty good when she was finished but by the time I got home a bunch of teeny tiny bubbles had formed on most of my nails. Even though they were not super noticeable I still think that should not happen with a professional manicure. However, when all is said and done, I would probably go back the next time I want a French mani/​pedi because I’m a sucker for a deal. Next time, though, I will ask for Lynn!

Cheap and convenient. Almost always takes walk ins. They do a good job, but don’t expect amazing high quality nails. It’s cheap and they do a pretty cheap job. It’s only around 20 $ for a fill in with design. I like them because its not expensive, they can do them very quick and you don’t need to make an appointment.
Ask for Jackie, she does the best nails there besides the owner, Kim.

I guess this place is ok if you want a quickie pedi. I wouldn’t come back but like I said if you need a pedi ASAP come here. No frills. No ambiance. Radio was way too loud. Massage chairs are uncomfortable. And there were 6 paper fly traps hanging from the ceilings & they were covered w dead flies. Not cute.
