The library is really nice, the chairs comfortable, the selection large and the outlets for my laptop are pleeeenty. Great little study areas for groups, too.

I love this library. This is my favorite library in the area aside from Emma S Clark Library is Setauket. There a large selection of books and multimedia. Many quiet corners to sit and study, or to just relax. Computers are always available for use. Numerous resources available for the community and this is what I love the most. Cancer walks, suicide prevention, Bilingual services, domestic violence support etc all available for the community. New technology makes it easier to check out & return selections. Beautiful scenery to view while you visit. I honestly prefer coming here and study or working on homework than my house! Happy Unilocaling!

The best of the best nothing beats this library, I love the staff and the resources and programs are endless. I order any movie or series I want and they get it fast. If they don’t have they get it for me from any library on the island so great, take advantage of the best library around.

When I was a kid, MCPL’s range of media was incredible. It gave me my first Kurosawa, Vonnegut, Bukowski, Fellini, etc.
But the last time I went back, although unsuccessful in finding a copy of the Seventh Seal, I did notice about 15 Blu-​Ray copies of Dinner for Schmucks.
Five stars from my childhood but consider this a warning Middle Country Public Library. Your current circulation decisions would make Ben Franklin weep.

One of the best libraries I’ve ever been to. The staff is very nice and the programs are wonderful. I often took my children here for their children’s programs over the summer and during the school year. Always nicely decorated with a theme. A nice resource.

I often go here mainly because of the vast online business databases (part of the BusinessLink program) and although it’s a a bit of a commute, aside from the resources the building also is well designed/​decorated and isn’t your typical building just filed with books.

New York, NY
One of the better libraries in the area, probably one of the funkiest I’ve been to as well. Many little nooks and crannies to hide in order to study or find some quiet time. Huge DVD selection also, a free virtual blockbuster, u can reserve em online too and they notify you when they’re ready for pickup. The librarians are always very nice and helpful. Can’t beat it.
