So sorry to hear that Jeff G. had such a bad experience here but I’ve been eating with these folks here since 2012 and found that the food was consistent and made well. The way that this type of restaurant is set up, about 90 percent of the business is carry out. Word to the wise, if they have pictures of food on the marquees above the counter, you’re not going to get a super dine-in experience. Take it to go, you’ll be much happier as you eat in the comfort of your own home. Hunan Wok has a pretty vast menu and really does a good job doing it all. If you’re after some of your Chinese restaurant favorites such as Broccoli Beef, General Tso’s and Egg Foo Young, you’re in luck. They do it quite well. However, with some American Favorites, there’s a bit of Sinofication. I ordered the buffalo wings one time and it was a different – but tasty Chinese version. Not a runaway hit, but a pleasant version. The Chinese selections that I’ve ordered are quite good. You’ve got to try their potstickers. The skins are hand rolled and though they’re a bit more than a mouthful, they’re pretty much the real deal. Tear a little hole in the skin and pour in some of the vinegar soy that comes with it. You;ll have a bit of potsticker heaven. What you do get is great operational integrity here. If they tell you your order is going to take 20 minutes, it’ll be ready in that or less – all packed up and ready to go. Overall, this is a really good place if you want some Chinese comfort food that’s done well and handed to you piping hot and fresh. They’re lunch specials hover the $ 5 and are more value packed than a combo or value meal elsewhere. These guys are worth a try – they do have one of the better carry outs in Centerville.

This place is dirty and disgusting. I was feeling adventurous and thought I would try something new, but boy did I get burnt here. I got an order of crab Rangoon, Kung Pao chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The crab Rangoon tasted freezer burnt, the chicken was mostly celery, and the rice tasted like dirty refrigerator. I was disgusted enough to just get up and walk out without saying anything and leave the garbage on the table. I wouldn’t recommend eating here at all.
