I spend two months researching wedding event companies and wedding venues. It was the most painful process because my fiancé (now husband) was a DIVA through the process. We looked at every wedding venue we could think of and were lost on how to even plan a wedding.
Two months of looking at venues, I wanted to give up. I cried because we couldn’t find a venue to agree on and I knew if we couldn’t agree on a venue, we probably can’t agree on wedding details. So one night, I turned to Unilocal to looking at wedding venues and The Event Loft came up. I emailed them and within 24hrs, I received an email for Adina. We talked over the phone later that day for a good hour. We really connected, she knew what I wanted.
The main thing I loved about The Event Loft it’s pretty much a one stop shop. They handle everything from the venue, the music, the cater, and the rentals. It was a dream come true!
The process–
I sent Adina some of wedding inspiration photos and filled out her questionnaire. She later then sent me a price quote. My fiancé and I were please with the quote she sent us and decided to sign with her.
Between signing and 3 months prior to the wedding, Adina and I emailed back and forth. I sent her more wedding inspirations /​mood board.
3 months prior to the wedding date. We did the tasting, floral arrangements and tablescape. Everything was smooth sail, until… My fiancé didn’t like the linens. I emailed Adina my fiancé concerns, and she quickly came up with different solutions. 2 weeks before the wedding, Adina showed us more table cloth options, luckily my fiancé liked the new linens. Everything looks amazing.
Wedding Day– perfect! Everything was amazing!!! We got so many compliments on the venue and the tablescape. Adina and her team exceeded our expectations. My husband is usually really picky, but he loved everything about our wedding.
I would hire Adina and her team again! I just need to think of an event! Lol

I worked with The Event Loft on a fundraiser for Kids Konnected, a local non-​profit that helps youth with parents affected by cancer. It was a great success and guests loved the space! It was held at the Gray Matter Museum in Costa Mesa. We started with a rooftop reception and then moved downstairs for a seated dinner. Adina and her staff we’re friendly and helpful. They gave us an amazing package deal which made the event so much easier to plan only dealing with the one vendor. The space was a little tight for 115 but cozy and festive. Overall a wonderful event space to work with!

The Event Loft was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience Adina & entire staff were beyond wonderful. They made our wedding absolutely beautiful it was a true fairy tale story! We will never forget such a amazing day months later all of our friends and family can’t get over what a amazing day with great food and drinks! Truly amazing beyond blessed to have had the event loft plan our special day!

Adina and her team are hands down the best in the business! The wedding they created for us went beyond anything we had ever imagined. Every detail was meticulously planned and attended to leading up to and the day of our wedding. Working with them was a breeze, and they planned our wedding in three months without a hitch. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the venue, the food, the drinks, and the flowers (thank you Meri!!). When my bridesmaids asked me my secret to staying so calm and relaxed on my wedding day, and I told them it was Adina! Thank you Adina and The Event Loft!

A friend who has used their services for their wedding referred us to The Event Loft. After a few emails back and forth and then meeting Adina in person, we were extremely confident working with Adina and her staff. She was prompt and very professional — always answered our texts and emails in a very timely manner. After a few conversations, we knew that they would be able to provide the wedding we always wanted. Adina gathered lots of information about what type of wedding we wanted and I have to say she hit the nail on the head.
The food tasting was held at a private residence that was gorgeous and executed very elegantly. We brought our parents with us and they loved Adina, the food and the whole experience. This was also the first time we had a chance to meet Allen. He is great! What an outstanding bright soul. The food that was served at the tasting was excellent; we had a hard time choosing between the different dishes. Our floral mock up that was done by Meri Wagner also wowed us and left us very excited to see her work at the event. The day of the wedding we were absolutely in awe of how beautiful the flowers came out — more beautiful than we could have imagined.
The wedding walk through was a breeze. Adina and Allen quickly assembled the wedding party and walked us through the events for the big day. They had all questions promptly answered and made any last minute suggestions that the bridal party requested. Once again making everyone at ease and the wedding day that much more manageable.
The wedding day was a breeze. Everything was set up and managed exactly how the bride and groom wished it to be. What a perfect day! Guests had a great time and we could really tell everyone was enjoying themselves. Allen did a great job and he was always there when we needed him. Everyone on-​site was helpful, professional, and courteous. After the event we got endless compliments on the venue, food, decorations and staff. We couldn’t stop smiling that day and the whole week after — we feel so lucky that we had such a flawless wedding and that is credited to Adina and her staff.
We would highly recommend working with Adina and The Event Loft for any functions. We will definitely keep them in mind for upcoming birthday parties and family functions.

WOW. The below response from Adina is downright untrue. It’s sad to see a business owner stoop so low. Not once did she try to work with us until we wrote a negative review following a lawsuit threat. She took down her response and since I did not want to associate with the company anymore and did not reply, she continues to drag this on. It’s pathetic to see a business unable to apologize but threaten with a lawsuit & continue to respond in a horrible way as none of it is true. Who knows, The Event Loft might be a great place for event planning but I will never know as my main point of contact, Adina, has done nothing more than harass, responded in a very negative manner, falsify & fabricated stories & threaten to sue me for my review. That is enough for me to steer away.
Usually updates are because a company has reached out to you to better your experience or you have given them another shot and things were better the second time around. In this case, this is anything but resolving issues. As I was driving today, I received a call from an «UNKNOWN» number. Being caught off guard, it was from Adina Verdult, President of The Event Loft. I soon remembered who she was and to my surprise. she asked me to take my Unilocal review down as it was ruining her business because of «defamation.» I am not the type to exaggerate, lie or falsify any experiences as I fully support local businesses. I told Adina politely I was not going to remove the post as I had every right to document and express my opinion. It was then she got extremely upset, threatened to file a lawsuit against me for defamation. I told her she was not able to sue me as it was my opinion. her comeback.“there is a loophole you are not aware of.” I thought it was the end of it but she continued to berate me, claiming she knew where I worked and was going to go there to give me a bad. When I told her I had quit she said, «It doesn’t matter, I can easily find out where you work.» She proceeded to tell me she hopes I remain unemployed for the next five years because of my attitude. Excuse me. YOU called me to berate me and threaten me all because of my opinion. Adina claimed that I never gave her the chance to meet me but everytime I scheduled to meet with her, she cancelled. She also took the time to look up our wedding asking us why we even bothered to seek her «PROFESSIONAL» (OR LACK THEREOF) assistance if we decided on a restaurant in the end. As she continued to threaten me and yell at me during our nearly 9 minute conversation, I realized there was not a point and hung up. 45 minutes later, I received a call from her «bartender» asking me to remove the post, saying I was ruining his life since he was unable to find another bartending job. Who knows who else she gave our information to. YOUR INFORMATION WILL NEVER BE PRIVATE, IT IS ILLEGAL AS WE SIGNED A CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT, THEREFORE A LAWSUIT COULD POTENTIALLY BE PART OF THEIR FUTURE. It is appalling how unprofessional and rude this company is. NOTHING is their fault, they will twist EVERY situation to make it seem like its your fault. Now I completely understand why they filed bankruptcy from their previous company and opened a new event firm under a different name. I assume all these reviews are from employees and family members who are trying to help them stay afloat in such a competitive market. If anyone needs a great planner, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your research. There are great planners out there who will make your day worth every penny. If you are trying to make amends or fix a situation, Adina, that was not the way to do it. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I also have e-​mails and phone calls to prove it.

If you are asking for a dream come true, The Event loft is the place to make that happen. My wedding was more than i could ever imagine. The Food was A++, the place was, A++, the service was A++. No Stress. They will definitely be doing every event of mine from here on out! Spectacular!!!

My son and new daughter in law were just married this weekend and the wedding was spectacular thanks to the Event Loft and Adina. We cannot not say enough how Adina and her staff went above and beyond expectations. A special shout out to Cienna who was a sweetheart. Every detail was thought of do not hesitate to go with The Event Loft for an awesome wedding or event. They truly know what they are doing…

My daughter and I found The Event Loft through a Google search for an outdoor wedding in June. With only six months to plan, it was a godsend to find Adina and her team to make my daughter’s wedding dream come true. There is no other way to put it as everything my daughter wanted as a part of her wedding was there. The only thing I did not consult Adina about went horribly awry, which was our shuttle service.
From the décor to the food to the flowers, my husband and I received nothing but compliments! The venue my daughter selected was The Château Palmier and it was exquisite! The food was very good, the DJ fun and entertaining and kept the party going. We’ve only seen a sample of the photographers’ work but so far the pictures are beautiful! The photo booth was exceptionally fun and captured some great memories!
The flower arrangements provided by Mary (part of Adina’s team) were breathtaking. My daughter gave her general guidelines and Mary put together beautiful arrangements for the cocktail area and the reception ares — not to mention the bouquets, boutonnieres and ceremony florals. Gorgeous!
Aside from the details provided by her crew, the DIY items my daughter brought were placed exactly the way my daughter wanted… really, it was her dream come true.
Above it all, I have to thank Adina for keeping calm throughout the process; everything we asked for was «no problem» and it was the truth.

The experience that my husband Ray and I had with The Event Loft and our wedding planner, Adina Verdult was simply put AMAZING!!! From the first meeting with Adina there was an instant connection I knew right then and there our wedding planning was going to be stress free and smooth sailing and sure enough that’s exactly what it was. All I had to do was give her my ideas and vision and she made it happen. Our wedding day was perfect from décor to food and service we could not have been happier. With Adina it was like having a best friend that you knew would always be there and never let you down. I hired The Event Loft after one of my clients had raved to me about how well they pulled off her gorgeous wedding, and her amazing experience working with them.
After trying to plan my own DIY wedding while working 2 jobs and over 50 hours a week, you can imagine I was ecstatic to talk to someone who not only wanted to help, but who was as excited about my ideas as I was!
I met Adina at her fabulous Newport Beach office, which I immediately wanted to live in — it was so beautiful! We discussed the kind of venue we were looking for, and then we actually went out and checked some of them out. I quickly fell in love with one of the exclusive venues, and was so grateful that she had taken her afternoon to show me these amazing locations!
Adina was there through every step of the planning process. We must have exchanged a million emails and texts. She was extremely dependable. Working with Adina was more like interacting with a best friend rather than someone I had hired, which I was so grateful for, considering all of my friends and bridesmaids lived in other states!
The Event Loft was able to work within my budget, and allowed me to include the DIY elements that I had originally envisioned. Adina added cohesive décor elements that matched the look I was going for, which I loved!
When the day finally arrived, we met at the venue for a short run through, and Adina was already there with her staff setting everything up. I felt like I didn’t have to worry about anything.
After a whirlwind morning of getting ready we arrived back at the venue to find everything had fallen perfectly into place. All of the details we had discussed had been perfectly executed. The floral décor was breath taking! Huge thanks to Meri Wagner, the Event Loft florist, who created my dream bouquet, which was everything I wanted and more.
The Event Loft Staff worked tirelessly through the entire day and evening to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everyone was taken care of. All of The Event Loft signature touches like the «Bubbly Bar» were a huge hit, and the food was phenomenal– I mean how can you go wrong with Braised Short Rib, and Butternut Squash Ravioli?! Yum! The servers were amazing. Allen Brown is a coordinator, mixologist, and party supervisor extraordinaire. He cared for the head table, and couldn’t have made our experience any better. He was fantastic!
Jabe Amato was specifically chosen by Adina to suit our music taste. He was incredibly easy to work with, and overall just such a nice guy. He played the acoustic guitar beautifully for the ceremony, and effortlessly transitioned into a recorded song for me to walk down the aisle to. Not a small feat! He exceeded all of my expectations as our musician, music coordinator, and deejay, and he even sings!
Our wedding left a beautiful impression on us and our guests, and it’s all thanks to Adina and her amazing crew at The Event Loft. I would work with them again in a heartbeat, and wouldn’t hesitate to give them the highest recommendation to anyone.

My husband and I used Event Loft for our wedding at Capri laguna in April 2013. We are so pleased with the services and couldnt have asked for a better wedding! Adina done a wonderful job coordinating with vendors and making our outdoor dinner reception absolutely beautiful. On top of that, the entire wedding planning process was stress-​free because Adina took care of everything for us! All we had to do was choose our wedding colors, tell her what food we like, and show up! And, must I add… it is very reasonably priced. My husband and i dont plenty of venue shopping and nothing comes close to what Event Loft has to offer, especially in orange county and right on the beach.
We both highly recommend Event Loft for party planning services, especially for weddings. I told my husband the other day that we should get married all over again :)

My daughter hired Adina (The Event Loft) to plan her wedding, which was at the end of April. Adina’s planning process was very collaborative — she was able to be flexible with our budget while being able to include all the elements my daughter envisioned. She also happens to have some of the finest venues in Southern California available to her — the venue we used for the wedding was spectacular, and is exclusively booked through the Event Loft. The day of the wedding, Adina and her staff were on-​site preparing for the event tirelessly, all day. They worked seamlessly with the other vendors (flowers, photographers, etc.) to create a wedding that was a dream come true! The food was excellent, the setting was amazing, and the most impressive thing was all the little touches that Adina provides. Adina’s staff did a fabulous job — especially the staff that waited on the head table — they went above and beyond! The guests were all amazed at how beautiful the wedding was and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our experience with the Event Loft was completely positive and I really can’t thank Adina and her staff enough for what they did. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars! I highly recommend the Event Loft for any special occasion!

I highly recommend Adina Verdult as a event and wedding planner. I had the opportunity that see her amazing job with Fleur de Lis and now with The Event Loft. She is very professional, talented and creative. I had witnessed her job and she is amazing! she takes care of every single detail, flowers, candles, food, service, cake, photographer, DJ, etc. She only works with the best vendors and you can see it reflected with the quality of events that she has planned. If you are looking for a fabulous wedding-​event planner there she is, she will make you dream wedding come true.

I’ve known Adina Verdult for over 14 years and have worked numerous events with Fleur de Lis and The Event Loft. I’ve also worked with Adina at an amazing restaurant In Irvine way back, when Adina was the Event Planner at the time. Adina is one of those people who is just an absolute natural when it comes to making the Guests/​Clients experience a memorable one. I have witnessed numerous, private parties, wedding, banquets, anything from the a small group up to huge high end corporate events and each one went off without a hitch. Adina and her super friendly staff are something to be desired if your are looking for «that» experience that everyone wants and deserves.

Fleur De Lis Events and The Event Loft are amazing. I cannot even explain how much Adina Verdult help me. Planning a wedding is very stressful and everything was in her hands and everything with off without a hitch. My wedding was the most memorable time of my husband and my life. Please if you are thinking about using Adina with FDL or The Event Loft please give her a shot and at least have a meeting with her. I want to start off by saying that I would not be where I am today with my bridal career without the help from The Event Loft. I met the team 1 year ago for an event and I was asked to do the hair and makeup for their models. The event turned out amazing! The Ice freezer with a bar inside, and the sushi models were a hit! One of the best yet, so happy I had the pleasure of working with them.
I am a freelance makeup and hair stylist and I live in the OC, so it works out perfect when The Event Loft calls me for an event. From brides to Charity events they are so professional and comfortable to work with.
I have been extremely lucky with every single bride The Event Loft has referred to me. The brides come from all over the world to have the beautiful destination beach wedding, and The Event Loft gives them that special experience they will never forget.
My Aunt was telling me how she couldn’t find a wedding planner who understood what she wanted and listened to the little details.
