What a great place to spend a warm, sunny day out. Get your snacks, frisbees and cycles along and soak up the sun. For people who have kids, there is a huge playground. Ample parking space, you might have to wait for 5 min or so on weekends and evenings, but it’s worth the wait. Everyone who uses the space is courteous. I was hiking on a bike, with out a bell after years, but everyone was conscious, and I circled the lake without hurting anyone. Makes for a great picnic spot. People were getting their own barbeque appliances, tables, chairs and yummy food and making their day. Lots of dogs too, so safer to keep your dog on his/her leash, for the dog lovers. We did cartwheels, ran around the garden, cycled and finally settled to watch a volleyball match. Fun fun fun!

A great playground for kids of all age against the beautiful backdrop of lake Elizabeth.

Slides can get really hot if you go on a sunny day so maybe dress your kids with long pants or go early morn or late evening. Wish they had more shade! Located inside Lake Elizabeth, closest to the community center. This playground has two areas, one for older kids and one for toddlers. It has that cushy flooring which I love –I don’t like walking on tanbark or sand. My kids have fun with the slides and swings and when we’re done we go to the library which is just a few minutes away.

this park is kind of in conjunction with the new Sabercat Playground. Both playgrounds are located at Central Park(between Aqua Adventure & Lake Elizabeth)! The Sabercat Playground is recommended for kids aged 5 – 12, which i agree with. This is not a great park for your toddler. If you *do* have kids elementary age — i guarantee they will LOVE this park! It’s really nice and new, lots of places to play and explore! Sun and shade. My kids spent two hours here of non-stop playing! It’s very unique and has so many different things to try, play on, and climb. It has a grassy picnic area, the nice rubber padding under all the playground equipment and ducks nearby at Lake Elizabeth. Just a fair warning this park is packed on the weekends. There are so many people it’s hard to keep track of your own children!
