My mother is a huge fan of Garrison Confections. We ship her the legendary lover collection every year! The flavors are so deliciously rich and unique.

Excellent chocolates. This has the best stuff in the area. The store in central falls is a factory with a small front shop. The shop is open during special events seasonally, but is not something you can rely on being open if you just stop by. You can call the store, and place an order for next day pick-up in central falls. The chocolates are available at various other locations. The one near me, that i subsequently bothered to remember, was Stock Culinary Goods in providence, but there were a few other locations in somewhere like Barrington and Warwick… call and ask about those locations rather than taking my(possibly outdated) word for it. Things which I have found to be particularly amazing: the box chocolates, generally; the fruit and nut bars; the«blue» bar; the peidmont paddy; the chocolate powdered pretzel and macadamias(dusted, not dipped), and the chocolate covered ginger.

This is a lovely local chocolatier who really knows what they’re doing — rich, silky chocolates in a variety of confections that are perfect for gift-giving or treating one’s self to. My husband is the biggest lover of chocolates I know, and one Valentine’s Day I surprised him with a sampler for Garrison. We both love that they’re locally-made and really unique when it comes to flavors — be it blood orange, dulce de leche or pure dark chocolate there is something for everyone and everyone will be delighted. The chocolaterie is located in Central Falls but isn’t a shop for dropping into. You can simple call and place your order or go to their website, browse the options and place your order there. Each order comes beautifully packages in a chocolate-brown box affixed with a satin bow and info about what you’re going to eat. I highly recommend getting your next chocolate fix from these guys — they know what they’re doing, and they do it extremely well!

Best chocolate ever. I’ve been going to get their chocolate for gifts and special occasions for a few years. Everything is delicious, but the truffles are also exquisitely beautiful. Only downside is this chocolate has ruined other chocolates for me. The owner is a big supporter of the local community and I appreciate that as well. It’s a great gift for Valentine’s Day, the holidays or just for yourself. Love it!

Follow-up to previous reviews: the Central Falls location is specifically open to the public several times a year, such as at Easter. Details on the website. But I just heard you can also get their chocolates at Stock, the kitchen store on Hope St. Seems to be true(checked Stock’s FB page). I will update this review later… I’m heading out to the Central Falls location today to stock up on some Easter gifts. It’s been a while and I’m looking forward to tasting these yummy delights again.

I am a big fan of Garrison Confections. I appreciate the fact that they are located in CF, which can certainly use more quality businesses. Still, I would not order their expensive chocolates if they weren’t really, really good, which they are. In addition to the French-style chocolates, many featuring intense pates de fruit, there are also things like coconut patties, chocolate covered fruits, macarons, etc. All really good. If you are in RI, definitely stop by(the shop is nondescript and easy to miss), and if not, order before it gets too hot!

Great chocolate!!! I became a big fan when they were on Hope Street a few years ago. Then they disappeared, apparently moving to Central Falls. I found this out when I tried a Garrison chocolate sampler at Pizzico restaurant also on Hope Street. The neighborhood they are now located in is very dicey and you have to ring the doorbell in be let in by the owner. It is best to call ahead I gathered. This is not a drop by on the spur of the moment place to shop. In fact, there is no showroom to speak of — just a small display case. I actually had to tell the owner that I was there to buy chocolate. He then proceeded to ask if I wanted a 12 piece box. I said yes, three(gifts!) A bizzare and unfortunately rushed experience. The chocolates are phenomenal!!! I just wish they were a little more retail friendly. My recommendation is to view the treats online then make an appointment to go pick them up.
