Nice golf course if you are a beginner and not looking to spend a lot. I used to go here a lot when I was younger and recently started going back because I can get a quick round in for cheap on a Sunday night when the temperature drops and theres no crowd. This is a municipal public 9 hole par 35 course in the town of Islip. Some fairways are a little tight but the course is straight with very few fairway bunkers. There are greenside bunkers and the greens themselves are in decent shape. Some of the fairways have a little bit of crab grass but they aren’t too bad considering the price to play. Twilight is 3pm and its $ 13 ($ 25 with a cart). There is no water and few places to lose your ball (unless you go left on #2 or right on #6). Very small parking lot which is in dire need of repaving. Staff is friendly and if you go at the right times, you can have the place to yourself. No coolers/alcohol aloud on the course, they check.
