Rogue Jet Boat Adventures

We had a great time and everything about the excursion was perfect. The staff is friendly, the boat is clean and the guide was entertaining and informative.

First time on this adventure today! Great history lesson on the Rogue River. Captain Taylor is a great guy, and well versed on local history. His boat holds 10 people and was perfect for our group of 6. I highly recommend trying this event, you won’t be disappointed!

Our Ashland B&B group of same-​time-​next-​year friends (aged 50-​something to 60-​something) decided on a power boat trip on the Rogue River as the 2015 outing. I gave in to the consensus not really expecting to enjoy the hours in the sun listening to engine noises and friends screaming as they get splashed from the manufactured thrill of sudden turns on water.
The tour in real life was so much better than I expected! Okay, we got some spray but Taylor, the boat captain, kept the wetness to a civilized level (especially since we were in the first, coolish boat run of the day). More importantly, the Taylor was extremely knowledgeable about the local history of the Valley and the current residents along the river.
The ride itself was comfortable and full of scenic landscape and close up wildlife. The trip felt personal and aimed for relaxation.
I especially appreciated that Taylor spent additional five minutes or so at the end of the trip (when the time couldn’t be made up) so that we could watch a boat of fishermen reel in a line-​caught salmon. The estimate of the fish’s size was 30 pounds, and watching the end of the fight was intense.
These folks are local, involved, and very worth patronizing.

Everything about the excursion was very well done. From the advisory email the day before about what to wear because of predicted weather. The outdoor seating pre-​launch. The captains knowledge and the friendliness of our booking agent.
The trip itself is far more intimate and personable than the «standard» jet boat excursion. The size of the boat is perfect for a family outing and affords the pilot the ability to get into areas the larger boats can never get into.
At the end you can wrap it all up with a picture and a chance to sign the table.

This is a must when visiting the area, or if you live in the area! Great entertainment and knowledge of the Rogue River. Always been on the diner excursion, food is always good.

The tour guide and owner Taylor was so informative about the area yet in a very interesting way. I grew up in the Rogue Valley yet learned stuff I never knew. The boat ride was exciting and fun and extremely beautiful, even my children loved it. They even «found» arrowheads on the island! What a great touch. It was so much more personal and intimate than the larger jet boats. There was many photo opportunities also. The owner Emily and their daughter Makena was also friendly and helpful. It made the experience great and I can’t wait to go again.

Just went on the jet boat discovery tour with out of town friends. Taylor is very knowledgeable of the rogue valley. The kids are still talking about the Indian arrow heads they found on the island. Emily and Taylor are genuine and kind hearted people. We will be booking with them again when we have other visitors.

My husband and I have gone on your tour twice now and both experiences were awesome. We just had the best time. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! We will definitely be back!

We had such a great time. The trip was everything we hoped for and more. We enjoyed the ride as well as the historical information we received during the trip. The delicious snacks at the end were a surprise and a pleasure. We will be back SOON. So happy a business like this is in Jackson County!!!

Everyone had so much fun! A must do when you come to Southern Oregon. Beautiful river and great guide. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Rogue Jet Boat Adventures!

Excellent experience. Friendly. Great for all ages. Opportunity to stop on a private island and explore. Special touches include a fabulous little snack at the end– it was very fresh and delicious. Nice family run business on a portion of the rogue that is not commercialized. Highly recommend this adventure for locals and tourists alike.
