I love the bar staff, and the drinks here. The food isn’t as spectacular as it once was, and frankly I feel like the prices are getting higher and higher while the quality is going down. Been disappointed the last 6 times by the food, so I felt compelled to update my review. I also had a negative experience when trying to find out if I could hold a group meeting here and avoided having it in this location. Maybe I’ll have better luck at the Medford location?

This was my first experience going to the point doing anything besides ordering just a beer. I took my husband there today for his first time ever. We waited five minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there and we were sitting at the bar! Once someone decided to help us, and there were at least four people working that passed us, helped us with our beer selection and took our food order after I asked for a menu. The food came in a average amount of time. We ordered the blue cheeseburger with onion rings and the point burger with garlic fries. The garlic fries were almost cold. I would not even call them warm. The burgers looked and tasted as if they were frozen. But yet they still charged $ 12. The buns looked like they were mass bought at Costco, not even toasted. Very limp. Actually flopped open when I went to take a bite. The onion rings were almost warm enough and tasted pretty good. The toppings on both burgers were OK, nothing to write home about. It’s just too bad because this building is amazing and Central Point really needs a good restaurant. The waitress was very nice when she helped us, but she was definitely overwhelmed with the amount of people in on a Sunday afternoon. But like I said before I saw at least three other waiters/whomever that could have helped. I’ll give them another go, maybe it was just a bad day. But that doesn’t explain the frozen burger and Costco like hamburger buns. At least my beer was delicious and cold and served in a giant glass, but that being said even my buzz didn’t help the food taste better.

Food has really gone downhill. Ordered a chimichanga… instead of shredded beef, it was stuffed with the same beef they use for their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches… and to add further insult to injury, the tortilla itself was limp and soggy. The pico de gallo was totally lackluster to boot. The accompanying rice and beans were also not tasty or memorable. This place has so much potential… beautiful old brick building with a charming outdoor patio. But the menu is disjointed and amateurish in content, and the food is soooo disappointing. Really just good for dropping by and having a beer outside, then moving on to a better eatery. The servers are nice enough, but generally not very efficient or attentive. Bathrooms however are clean!

The Point Pub And Grill has horrible service! Do Not waste your time even trying to get a glass of water at this place! SERVICESUCKS! They think by opening up a new location will be better, but I can tell you they will end up like The Old Farmhouse Restaurants… SHUTDOWN!!!

Right from the moment we walked in the service was disorganized at best. We were told a table was being made for us then were promptly forgotten about left standing there for another 5 minutes before someone came from back alto ask us how many people we had(lack of communication). After we were seated it took another 10 minutes for someone to just ask what we want to drink. Our food eventually arrived but we had received no utensils to eat and when we asked for some we waited another five minutes for them to be delivered. Food was decent but service was absolutely terrible. Sorry to say but we will not return to this establishment.

The Point hosted our Rotary social event and donated a portion of each of our purchases to our cause. Their dedication to both their local community and international community makes me a loyal customer!

I have heard great things about this place… Unfortunately I don’t think I can say the same. We got there about 4:45 thinking it wouldn’t be too busy for dinner time. Waited 10 minutes and had 3 servers pass us by before we got seated… Didnt even acknowledge we were there. Our server was nice, kind of quiet and it’s a little loud in there… We waited until 6 to get our food… Annoyed already we had a split check and it took another like 15 minutes for them to take the payment. We didn’t get out of there until 6:30…Food was okay, their fries were delicious… everything seemed just half assed. If they can figure out time and maybe better servers I would consider trying again.

The food was good– once it got to our table. We waited for 45 minutes for two salads and tel burgers. They didn’t communicate with us at all, in fact it felt like we were being avoided. At one point our waiter said«I just checked your order and it should be one minute»… 15 minutes later our food came. He never apologized or came back to our table. We also waited for quite awhile for water refills. We will try it again but hoping for much better service. Sometimes all you need it to just communicate with your customers– this feels like common sense customer service. ** Would be nice if the owner or manager would respond to the many negative reviews **

We just had dinner for six, two kids and four adults. I chose the Point because I thought it would be a good fit for keeping everyone happy while having a nice dinner. It was a great choice! In laws where very happy with prime rib as I was too, Jamie had Crab stuffed Salmon(we shared are meals) very good! Kids were happy with their meals too! Service was good and everyone enjoyed their drinks. Happy I chose the Point to take our family out for a nice dinner! I would recommend the Point to anyone wanting a nice dinner outing!

Love the mac n cheese and Bleu cheese fries for lunch. Their dinner entrées are great! Had a special and it was wonderful. Bartender dude made awesome mojitos from fresh mint they grow outside. Brews on tap are good selection too.

Great building, live music. The food is not adventurous but that’s ok. We are here twice recently, ordered the same thing both times. The first time the fish and chips were well prepared and hot. The second time it was completely awful, like fried fish jerky. Ew. The first time the service was attentive without being intrusive and the second time we more or less ignored. The décor is comfortable and easy. Love Central Point downtown. Easy to park. If they get more consistent, this could be a good place.

So I’ve been in several times before. Service has been good and the food is sub-par. Tonight I showed up at 9:10pm. Their sign says that they close at 10pm. The door was locked and the bartender had friends sitting up at the bar. Basically they closed an hour early, but they were serving their friends. Obviously the owner and General Manager of this establishment could care less about customer service, quality of experience and just plain constancy. Hopefully they’ll be forced to sell sooner then later and Central Point can get a decent spot whom cares about their customers.

I will give them 2 stars because the style/atmosphere was really nice & the food was decent. We first walked in and it took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged, we knew what beers we wanted but asked if we could get food to go. She asked for our IDs and left while we got them out. It took another 10 minutes for her to come back and she asked for IDs again even though they were sitting out on the counter. She got our beers and took our order. The food took about 15 – 20 minutes which was fine. I ordered a second beer towards the end of the meal and it took her 10 minutes to get it, that was at 5:45. We couldn’t get her attention the rest of the night so we finally stopped the bar back in his tracks at 6:40 to get the bill. 55 minutes without checking on a customer is so ridiculous not to mention she didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job. «Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.» I would hit the want ads if I looked that miserable at work.

Atmosphere: Cozy, original brick still intact from when it was Ace Hardware. Dark wood, stained pine(mahogany/cherry). Very warm and inviting. Feels like a well kept home almost from the early 20th century. Food: I’ve been coming here regularly since March 2015(or just before that). I’ve never had a bad meal here, ever! I’ve ordered different entrée’s every time and the quality has been consistently good. Beverages: They have the Digi-Pour system here for their beer and wine(or hard cider) selections. Good variety and the taps are fresh. Wine selection is sparse, but fair. They do have a full bar with a few premium liquors. Service: Only one time was the service a little slow, but that may have been due to the fact they got unexpectedly busy and were short-handed. Otherwise, super friendly and attentive, and THEYCARE! Special events: I went to my first event here tonight. A winemaker’s dinner they hosted for«Jaxon Vineyard». They did a fantastic job and the food was on par with high-end restaurants in our beautiful Rogue Valley. I will continue coming back as good business deserves our support.

Had the vip club and garlic fries. Considering the lack of customers, I was suprised at how long it took to get our beers, our food and our check. Food was good, patio seating was nice but definatly need to work on the timliness of the service.

Very good sandwich and salad choices at lunch. We tried a burger and a big chicken salad. The burger and fries were the standout here. Very good. The salad was also nice. This is a very old brick building with some real history to it. They have managed to update the place just right, without losing the old time feel of the place. A good selection of TVs with football. I bet this place is super busy when important games are on.

I really liked this place. We ate here for lunch today and everything was great. Nice atmosphere — 100 year old building with really tall ceilings, exposed brick walls and an awesome long bar. They have about 5 – 6 big screen tv’s, so obviously a great place to watch a game. They also have a cozy seating area with a couple of nice leather sofas, in addition to the many tables. I got a cheeseburger and the BF got the Southwest Chicken Salad and both were very good. The meat in my burger was high grade and cooked perfectly. And my side order of fries were A M A Z I N G! I got a choice of plain fries, parmesan or blue cheese. I got the blue cheese, and they were perfect. Lightly sprinkled with a blue cheese salt and they also came with a blue cheese dressing for dipping. So freaking good. Service was also really good. It looked like there were only two people working and there were only a few people at tables when we arrived, but it got busy at the end of our meal, so we were pretty lucky with the quick service we had. Overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for lunch in Central Point.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try something close by. Nice building with great outdoor seating. Love the open brick walls inside. I only had a couple drinks at the bar, so my review is on that experience alone. I Ordered the Lavender Blossom Martini which was yummy and better than expected. Service was attentive and super friendly. Will definitely be back to try some food, and maybe check out some live music. :)

This place is lovely and beautiful. The service is good. The food is good not great, but good. We had a Caesar salad 3 stars. Too much dressing and no anchovies in the dressing or not enough that you could taste any. Garlic fries 5 stars yum! Chicken tenders 5 stars. Dirty shrimp with garlic bread 3 ½ stars. The sauce was great, shrimp good, but there was no garlic bread. It was served with hard small croutons which was weird. My dining companion loved the calamari and I thought it was 3 ½ stars. Some pieces were not cook well and then others cooked perfect. We went there for happy hour and their happy hour prices are high, but portions are generous. We had a great time and would go again. Consistency could improve, but the food is good.
