Sometimes the service can be a little slow. However. I haven’t had a bad sushi roll there ever… The cucumber salad is so good! Sweet, and sour all at the same time! Whenever I’ve got a cold, or am feeling under the weather, I get can order of the Miso soup to go! It’s the best! If you want to try a bit of everything, get the chicken teriyaki bento box!!! The tempura is some of the best I’ve had! Enjoy!

The server was great. The sushi was so so. Nigiri style salmon was fresh and a good big piece of fish, but when it came to the rolls they barely had any fish inside and too much rice(tony roll and philly roll.) The appetizers we got were gyozas and veggie tempera and those were both good. I don’t think we’ll be coming back but thanks for the good service and great atmosphere. Btw the philly roll comes with smoked salmon which is not listed on the menu.

The best and freshest sushi in the Rogue Valley. We drive down from the Salem-Portland area and eat here every time! Don’t deprive yourself of some of the best!

The sushi is bland and flavorless. Ordered the Zen Zen, Golden Mexican, Galaxy, Orange rolls and a bowl of their regular ramen. All the rolls were so boring and tasteless. The ramen was ok, with quite a kick to it. The wait staff was nice albeit slow. This place isn’t anything to run back to.

We live near this place and have come here many times. Their food is great, and they have updated the interior to present a nice clean environment. They main struggle with Zen Zen is that they typically only have limited servers which can cause a LONG wait to order and be served your food. If they had another waiter/waitress then it would make the experience perfect. Otherwise, plan for an extended meal time here. It’s definitely not a quick in and out.

What is not to love about this place? When you walk In, it is sparkling clean. This is the only place I go for sushi anymore, it is so delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell that the owners really care. This is the only place to eat in the Medford area if you are a sushi lover! The chicken yakisoba is also delicious! Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

I don’t know about some of the negative reviews, but I had a great experience at Zen Zen. Coming from Brookings, my sushi standard was set pretty high, and they met my expectations. The service was excellent, it was a little slow, but boy was it worth the wait. Everything tasted good and was fresh. A must stop for sushi in central point.

Zen Zens Sushi is amazing. Rolls are great size and rolled nicely. Always very consistant. I have never been displeased with this place. I have been going in this place for a couple years now and I love it. The chef is so nice he treats his customers well.

By far the best sushi in the Rogue valley! I love how many different rolls they have on the menu to choose from! And a lot of the rolls are very reasonably priced! Every single one I’ve tried has been delicious! I will continue to go here and recommend them to everyone!

Im not in kansas any more! Wow i hope this place is not a sign of whats in store for me out here. I ordered«spicy honey teriyaki» it was menu item #2. Thats exactly what it tasted like, #2! i visualized grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce, this dish had veggies it looked more like a stir fry entrée which lacked flavor and chicken looked like a vegetarian dish that was sprinkled with bits of chicken. The restaurant was dead as hell the guy making the sushi looked like he hated his life, didnt get a greet or nothing. Now that i think about it, it looked like i was being mad dogged. The mizo soup lacked salt, the sushi roll was the worst one bite and i was immediately regretting my choice of sushi and restaurant. They did bring deep fried banana dessert With whip cream and chocolate sauce. 10 minutes later when i got back on the freeway my stomach made that sound that lets u know ur in trouble and u better hurry up a bathroom. On the bright side i wont ever be back but on the down side my stomach feels like a kamikaze and i have to go do a banzai drop and say sayonara to something viscous in the bathroom. Only reason i gave em 2 stars was because the service was decent.

What a great little sushi spot. Sushi rolls are so delicious! I have had sushi every where and this place is a top contender amongst my favorites. We had the jungle roll, rainbow roll and a couple other amazing rolls. The food is darn good and sometimes so is the service. They give you a little plate of fried bananas at the end of your meal. This place is sometimes top notch! I have to update my review to say that this place can be inconsistent. Depending on who is working you don’t always get the fried bananas at the end of your meal. Also the other day I was super disappointed that the waitress just stop waiting on me. I waited ten mixture after I was done hoping she would come back so I could get a to go box, get my bill and pay my bill. I finally just got up and stood in line for ten minutes and asked to someone else to let me pay my bill. The waitress never said I’m leaving or have to do A, B, C and so please pay at the front when your down. It seems like she just forgot I was there. When your paying $ 13 – 15 a roll the service should be decent. This was disappointing.

Had lunch with my son. I had the Dejavu roll which was fabulously spicy and fresh. My son had the Dragon roll and the Golden California roll. Very good. Would recommend.

Whatever you do, DONOT order the sushi/raw foods. They are of all you can eat quality type of sushi that are hard and frozen. I ordered a sashimi and it came out still frozen from the package. The chicken teriyaki is good, lean, and generous in portion. There was hardly any one there. I couldn’t finish my foods because of the smell of lack of freshness. The owner is a very disgruntled person. He would unlock the door but wouldn’t open or even greet customers. The waitress is nice though. No more Zen Zen. They put the Zzzz into their business.

Price was reasonable and plates were attractive but that’s as far as the positive comment goes. Server basically did her job did not check in with us wasn’t polite didn’t smile didn’t even say thank you when we left. The sushi was subpar to say the least not tasty at all and my tempura crab roll with a «C» was actually fake krab. The menu has no descriptions of most of the rolls so my daughters tuna roll was just that tuna and rice. The bathrooms were also dirty which says a lot about the kitchen. With my many sushi options, we were not happy and won’t be going back.

Was very good! Also as far as sushi goes it was also reasonably priced! I got the bento special and it was very very appetizing. I love sushi and it was a great way to kick my craving. That being said the menu was very limited, even if everything on it was great. Would like to see a little more diverse menu as there are so many great foods they can add to the menu. The place is a bit small but it is cozy and has a decent amount of room for customers. Overall it was a great place to eat for a good price and had delicious food!

Sushi taste great and prepared excellent. We have ate at alot of sushi resturant through out the Rogue Valley and Zen Zen ranks at the top, are new favorite. the atmosphere is relaxing with comforting music in the background. we started of with edamame served warm with the right amount of salt. We then had the crazy roll and deja role, one spicy one sweet. both were prepared similar but different tastes, very good. we finished off with the fried banana, oh ya. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. If your looking for great sushi, then this is your place.

Decided to drive a little further to try this place and I’m sure glad I did! The restaurant is cozy, well lit and while on the smaller side seemed like it could still accommodate a fair amount of people. The sushi menu offered several options and they all sounded good. We settled on miso soup, a super dragon roll and a pine street roll. Everything was delicious! They even give you a little treat at the end of your meal(spoiler alert: it’s a small bite of fried banana drizzled with chocolate and topped with whipped cream) Our server was sweet and very attentive with service. Overall a great meal and experience.
