Jammin Beats

I am extremely disappointed with our service provided by Jammin Beats. Jamie is the owner and he is nice to work with, but he doesn’t communicate very well with the staff that is coming out to actually DJ the event. Because of this vendor, my entire wedding was ruined. We spent a ton of money to have it recorded and all you see on the video is how upset I am. We had a 20 person wedding party that went down the aisle before me. First off, he played the wrong song as I am coming down the aisle. How do you mess up here comes the bride? Secondly, as I am halfway down the aisle, the music completely goes out because he forgot to charge the battery pack. What an amateur move! You call yourself a DJ! You ruined the biggest moment of my life and on video! For starters, they also switched dj’s on us at the last second, so Jamie really should have prepped the dj that was now doing our event. Instead, I had to do it and miss out on my getting ready pictures. He completely botched most of the names in the introductions even though we went through them. We made an idiot proof list of songs for them to play. They barely played anything on our list. We asked them not to take requests and they did from guests but not from us. My husband wanted some Spanish songs played that we went over with Jamie prior and halfway through our wedding, none was played and the dj was clueless even though we had a list in front of him with all the songs. He wasn’t prepared at all. The bridal party introduction song was the wrong version, we asked not to have any inappropriate cuss words or songs. What does he play? Soulja boy and back that ass up the unedited version. He literally had everyone off the dance floor so that is why I believe he played these songs. This is a wedding not a club! I was finally so disappointed that we had our brother-​in-​law DJ for some of the event. I will say even though I was upset, the DJ was very nice and never left. Very unhappy customers.

For some reason on wedding wire this company has a high rating– I don’t know how everyone else had such a great experience and then somehow for my wedding, they really messed up. First off, they showed up late! Two– the DJ completely messed up the introductions (it was awful), they skipped a bridesmaid/​groomsman pair and almost skipped the best man and maid of honor! And third, the DJ wasn’t very nice. I found out that there were 2 versions of the song I chose for my first dance so I asked him at the venue if he could verify with me that he had the right version. He was really mean about it and wasn’t going to do anything about it until I practically started to yell and finally he got his computer out and quietly played the song to make sure it was the right one (this was before the introductions and before he was DJing). Because of these things, it was really bad. Also, he kept bothering me through the night regarding the schedule even though we had gone over it prior to the events starting, so as I was having a good time with my friends, the DJ was pulling me off the dance floor because he forgot the schedule??? Basically I was most disappointed that he completely messed up the introductions (even though just 10 minutes before we went over the entire line up!!!). And he wasn’t very nice.
