We have visited this Le Crueset store many times and the staff have always been very helpful in explaining the uses of the different cookware items and utensils. We have found some amazing deals up to 60% off on already discounted pots as well. Our kitchen is filled with pots l, stoneware, and utensils from this store. Highly recommended.

A recent stop revealed that the store had cut down on it’s clutter, but still mostly has the red-white-blue look out for the summer. Nothing much new here, and the selection was a bit smaller, still a lot of «seconds». And they’ll hold your purchases for you if you’re walking around and just want to pick it up at the end of the day.

Knowing that we were going to need a vessel in which to boil and reduce our maple sap, we thought of going to Woodbury Commons since they have so many kitchen related outlets. The pot is probably going to take a beating due to the heat, steam and sugar and we needed to find one made well and that would be the least reactive. We settled on a large lobster pot from Le Creuset as I know the quality of their products. They have been a happy part of my kitchen for almost 20 years! Though it will not see any lobsters I am sure it will do the boiling of the sap very well for us and look great doing so. The outlet has a lot of ‘seconds” for sale. Some designated as such are well named but once in a while if you look through everything one can find a piece with a blemish so minor it does not even matter. The prices are very good too considering how $$$ they are at W-S or Bloomie’s. I have my eye on a tagine… Luckily the Le C outlet is close by to parking so one need not drag one’s purchases too far. Definitely worth checking out if Le Creuset is your thing.
