Hands down, this family owned drug store has the absolute lowest prices INTHESTATE on prescriptions. Tranfer your most expensive prescription from your rip-off big box pharmacy to Central Drug Store and you’ll understand why there is rip-off big box pharmacy on every corner! At CVS and Walgreen’s, my aunt’s copay on a new, but critical medication was over $ 400 for a 30 day prescription. At Central Drug Store, it was $ 187. On all other non-flat rate prescriptions, on average, we saved 25−30%…making it well worth driving a few extra miles. I really believe that even though Central Drugs COULD rape you with high RX prices just like the chain pharmacies, they have a conscience and choose not to.

This is a great little pharmacy. I recently had problems getting my prescription filled. I tried CVS and Walgreens but neither could help me. I called Central Drug Store, spoke with the Pharmacist, and he assured me that they had my medication in stock and that I would not have a problem getting it filled there. Once I got there, it only took about ten minutes and I was out the door with my prescription in my hand. All of the staff were super nice and helpful. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because they do not accept my discount card so I had to pay full price for my prescription.
