SOGOOD! My wife and I both absolutely love this place. I’ve been to El Pollo Rico(a ton of times) and Super Pollo. This place definitely battles them and is close to home. I usually get the half chicken, fries, and rice. They are large portions so i can easily share it and the prices are very fair. Highly recommend.

When I found out that there was a place offering Peruvian chicken in Centreville — I got pretty excited since all the other Peruvian places are way out of town. I had pretty high hopes as well, due to having really good Peruvian chicken before like El Pollo Rico in Arlington or Edys in Baileys Crossroads. And as I tried Chicken Latino… my expectations and my excitement kept dwindling down with each bite. I was splitting with my mom so we ordered — full chicken, plantains, yuca, and beans. I will say that the chicken wasn’t horrible. like I’ve said — I have had El Pollo and Edys which is definitely better. The chicken at Chicken Latino had flavor, the skin was good, but the inside was pretty dry. Nothing exciting. Also, to top that off, mine had feathers on it still which isn’t exactly appealing or appetizing. The plantains were okay at best. Definitely had better. Weren’t that sweet, weren’t that moist. Yuca… I’m not 100% how they are supposed to taste or how they’re supposed to be cooked, — but the ones I got here were hugely cut, which isn’t that big of a deal, but they were so. dry and had no flavor to them — again, I’ve had better. Beans… they weren’t bad either, just not the flavor I liked. The sauces(green sauce /mayo) — weren’t that great either! They were runny and lacked a lot of flavor, if any at all. If you go to El Pollo Rico — their sauces are to die for. All in all, 2 stars. Not my favorite. Makes me miss El Pollo or Edys — but will only ever get if I’m in that area. Will I go here again? Doubtful.

Fantastic flavorful chicken & very friendly, helpful staff. Quarter chicken dinner(chicken, rice, salad) was huge. There is enough to share or have leftovers. Authentic atmosphere.

For those who live around the Centreville area and don’t want to venture off towards Arlington or even Manassas for Peruvian style chicken, this is the next best option. The chicken is pretty solid, I would give it a 3⁄5 and 4 stars overall for the friendly service that was provided. My bf and I got the ¼ chicken with 2 sides. This was about $ 6 – 7 dollars which isn’t bad at all! You can choose from fries, yuca, rice, beans and salad. They also have different items such as Chicken lomo saltado which looked yummy :)

Delicious Latino chicken that melts in your mouth. Good size portions and plantains.

For our direct area in Centreville this is decent Peruvian chicken. Yellow sauce is a little too runny, green sauce is good, not the best I’ve had though. Go out to Herndon and try chicken rico, you’ll see the difference. If you really want the best, super chicken, NOT the one in Manassas, the super chicken in McLean/Tysons. But for our local Peruvian place it’s solid.

I’m a peruvian, and this is absolutely horrible peruvian chicken. And believe me I know my peruvian chicken, I have been everywhere in the DMV. I would head down to manassas, or arlington for better spots.

One of my favorite chicken places in the area, prices are great and food is A1! They don’t rip you off on chicken size. Only place that can compete is Maybe Guapos… Maybe

Another one of Centreville’s hidden gems! I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews. I’m wondering if those were all start-up problems that are now resolved because I only have good things to say. Chicken– moist, flavorful, delicious! Ginormous portions. Fantabulous service. Will definitely return!

Food is alright. Not the best chicken around the area by any means, and if you arrive at their place 10 minutes before they close they only want to do carry out… Or the lady at cashier will tell you to stuff your face and be done in ten minutes. I understand that’s late and people want to go home. Say kindly that you are only doing carry out and don’t make people feel forced to eat in 10 minutes.

The food was bland, the sauce watery, the chicken small, and the fries weren’t anything to write home about.

One word — Solid. Having been spoiled with being close to Edys and Pollo Loco for the longest time it’s not easy to find a good comparable chicken spot. I think I’ve found one in Chicken Latino in the Centreville area. Chicken is flavorful and moist. Sides are good and they DONOT skimp. There are some reviews that mentioned that the yuca was cut thick but you can always peel them to your desired size and mines were cooked perfectly. Sauces were great which is always important. Prices are comparable. Will definitely visit again and again.

This place is consistently making delicious food. Their yuca is crispy and delicious and the chicken is very tasty. I love their yellow sauce! I always get a large cup of it. It’s great as a salad dressing and to dip your chicken and yuca in. And the staff is very friendly as well.

This is probably my least favorite Peruvian chicken place, which is a bummer because I was so excited when they opened up. The chicken tastes like its pumped up with antibiotics and the yucca is tasteless with the exception of the fried taste. The owner is very stingy with the green and yellow dipping sauces.

My dear Unilocal friend Ruth C Is absolutely right. Yuca was cut thick which was okay but not fried long enough. The quarter chicken dark meat looked like it was cooked a while ago, dry and not flavorful at all. Now I miss El Pollo Rico!!!

OK. This is the better of the ‘latino rotisserie style’ chicken places in the area. The yucca is always light and fluffy and plantains are gooey and yummy. The chicken saltado is a great bang for your buck. They have two TV’s for atmosphere and that’s about it. But if you are looking for that spanish chicken, this is the place!

Hidden gem. Delicious, flavorful chicken right next to where I work. The owner is absolutely charming and I’m definitely going to be a regular. Give it a go.

This is a our go to «fast food» option in Centreville, that’s healthier than just a burger and fries. The food here is pretty good, although sometimes the sides are a hit or miss. I love yuca, but I feel like it’s 50⁄50 if it will be fresh and/or good when I come here. The chicken is always tasty and tender. And the best thing here is their white sauce. I have no idea what’s in it, besides probably a bunch of unhealthy stuff, but it’s awesome and goes great with the chicken and yuca.

This is my new favorite go to place. They are fast and the food is very flavorful. The plantains are soooo good and sweet with a new caramelized exterior. The rice is simple but tasty. The chicken is tender and very flavorful with crispy skin. Things I would avoid is the salad, it is only iceberg lettuce with some carrot shreds. The fries are good but last time I got them they needed a bit more salt. My boyfriend calls this his special chicken place and we get food from here at least once a week. The portion sizes are big! And the prices are reasonable and in my opinion pretty cheap for what I get.

The food is great. Skin rub/marinade needs a tiny bit more lime. Sauces could be a little spicier. And again as with every foreigner operated restaurant you get stuck with everfresh as being the only recognizable brand of drink… Ill move this to five stars if they get some Arizona ice tea or some various flavored drinks that are more US patron friendly. Overall: I love this place and frequent it :)
