Not terrible. Mediocre Chinese food. Not bad but not the best. I stopped by while waiting for my oil change got the lunch special, generous amount of food definitely worth my $ 7

Food is ok, but the person who answers the phone needs to work on his phone manner! «Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh» is RUDE.

While the food came out of the kitchen fast & hot, there’s a definite reason. Totally reheated and not fresh. The general tso’s chicken was so hot from the inside out I completely scalded my mouth on the first bite not expecting it to be so hot on the inside. If it were freshly cooked, the battered exterior would at least have been crispy since the gloppy sauce was poured over it & didn’t cover all, making the battered meat even more soggy. Needless to say, the chicken was mushy after soaking up grease & reheated. I’ll keep going only because the place is convenient and reasonably priced(does not translate to cheap or good value) and taste is not horrible, and thankfully I visit infrequently.

Pretty decent restaurant. It is located on the main level of an office building. I’ve been there a few times. This time I ordered general tso with combination fried rice. They charged me $ 2.00 more.(Which is average for that substitution.). I do recommend the food. It’s not the greatest, I’ve had better but it’s not terrible either. Definitely not a good place to bring a date but good enough for a couple of friends to sit down and eat at.

Food was delivered hot, service was fast and personnel were kind. The orders have been accurate. Pricing is fair. Overall, this was not my favorite place for the standardized Chinese food, the flavors were lacking. However, they are generous with fortune cookies, soy and duck sauce packets and their spicy mustard pouches.

They are the best in Centreville! Great taste. I didn’t know they opened at 12 on Sunday and i called at 11 and he still made it for me! I’m definitely coming back!

I have been going here off and on for a a while. It’s close to my house and the food is mediocre Chinese. I keep returning because it is convenient since it’s close to my house. After my last experience, I don’t plan to order from here again. I placed a dinner orderThey have dinner combinations that come with a spring roll, fried rice, entrée, and soup or drink. It seems like a pretty good deal. The problem however, was that the food was not good, but it was mostly rice. I ordered the veggie lovers delight and sesame chicken. As you can see from my pictures, there is a vast majority of rice. I expect that to some degree, but there really was not very much substance there. The eggrolls were not edible. They were very undercooked and The wrappers tasted kind of like cardboard. Not crunchy or fresh tasting at all. The sesame chicken was very breaded, and it wasn’t crunchy at all. It was kind of like soggy chicken nuggets in a goopy sauce. The veggies weren’t bad in the veggie delight, but there just wasn’t very much of anything. Overall, The food wasn’t great and there are just so many other Chinese places close by that I would rather try out.

I placed my order in the restaurant, and less than 10 minutes later I was pulling into my driveway just down the road. Super fast– inexpensive. Tasty. I’d repeat dine, for sure. They didn’t charge me to add snow peas to my chicken entrée which was a pleasant surprise, usually anything additional is well, additional. Happy and a full belly ;-)

We just moved to the area and we decided to order delivery from this place… big mistake. The free steam rice that came with our order was dry and hard. The kung pao chicken didn’t look like any kung pao chick that we ever experienced. It was soupy with a lot of sauce. Instead of just chicken and peanuts, their kung pao chicken had bits of dice celery, waterchestnut(?), and carrots. General Tao’s chicken was overly dry and tasteless. We probably won’t order from them again.

For some reason Centreville has no really good Chinese food delivery. This is the best place out of 4 that I have tried. Ordered Egg Rolls — more like crispy spring rolls.(What happened to the big fat ones in wonton wrapper?!) Egg drop soup — my 2 year old ate most of this, salty but good. Hot and sour soup — a little too gelatinous but put in a little water and it’s the right consistency. good flavor Crispy beef/sesame beef — nice and crispy! A win! I will order this again. Don’t remember about the delivery time, probably average. Ordered online.

My mom and I ordered Combination Fried Rice and Kung Pao Shrimp the other day and what a disappointment… Just to be certain of what we were getting, we google searches Kung Pao Shrimp and looked over many pictures that showed up to get an idea of what it would look like. The delivery didn’t take too long — about 45 minutes which is what they said it would be. I actually really liked the combination fried rice, which is the only reason why this review has two stars. The Kung Pao Shrimp on the other hand was a container full of sauce with micro sized shrimp… as in the frozen baby shrimp packages that you see in the stores. We were very confused because it looked like we were only given the sauce that was put over the shrimp. Then we fished through it and saw a scarce amount of baby shrimp. I know I can speak for their other dishes, but based off of what I was served this time around, I would not order from here again.

As others have said, this is «Americanized» Chinese food, but it’s the best I’ve had in Centreville since my favorite place closed down last year. The«spicy» food isn’t really super spicy, but it’s just right for me. Their tang wontons were awesome, and all of the rest of the food was fresh, and tasted just as good the next day.

We’ve ordered from here a few times, both pick-up and delivery. The food is generally ready in a pretty reasonable amount of time and the prices are average. We ordered Singapore noodles, spring rolls, and General Tsos tofu. The food was good /average but I was definitely looking forward to more spice, which I did not find. I’ve definitely had far worse food, but it was not amazing. I will continue to come here until I am able to find something better in the area.

Have ordered from here twice now. Food is good and service is fast! I ordered online both times and it went very smoothly. They even have coupons you can use, which is nice and helps save a couple bucks. I would definitely recommend them!

Very consistently above average food. Delivered fast and hot. No matter how much you ask for extra spicy, it never really is. I like that you can get dark chicken meat. Only problem I have had in the past 2 years(probably 25 orders) is one of their drivers got in a car wreck and our food didn’t arrive until I called back to inquire. I hope the driver was ok. So basically no problems. It’s good, we keep going back so it can’t be very bad. I haven’t given any Chinese places a higher ranking.

close to my home within walking distance. my friends in the London towne community gets their menu in the mail regularly. Delivery is good as well. I went for lunch special, General Tso’s Chicken. Huge portions, decent price. Great to bring your American friends. Will come back again when I get that GTC craving.

So I was at the shop getting my car fixed and I went for a walk to see if there was anything in the shopping center. Well as I was looking to see if there was anything tucked away in the shopping center since I did not have my car and Dunkin Donuts didn’t appeal to me on an empty stomach. As I walked I came across Sue’s, and remembered I wanted to try it. So I walk in and there was one person in front that finished just as I walked up. Now here is the reason it got a 2 instead of 3 stars. The guy asked if I was ready, I said«uhhh…» and he walked away. Not ok I will let you decide where I could have said I was ordering, but he just left, and I stood there for a minute and a half before the phone rang and he came out and answered the phone. Someone finally came up and took my order. Said it would be 10 mins, and it wasn’t. It took about 6, no complaints there… The wonton soup was fantastic, the sweet and sour chicken was ok, but the fried rice was filled to max capacity. It was ok, not sure if I want to go back…

I agree with everyone else — it’s semi-americanized Chinese food(not nearly as americanized as Pei Wei, which is so generic and bland) and their«spicy» dishes aren’t nearly spicy enough. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and Double Cooked Pork, both of which were labeled spicy on the menu, and neither were spicy at all. There were only 2 chilies in the KPC. The food wasn’t bad, just not spicy enough. We ordered take-out for lunch. Most of the lunch combos are bout $ 6.25 and come with an egg roll and soup(or a soda, but we got the soup). We both enjoyed the egg roll and the hot-and-sour soup. On the plus side, they gave lots of steamed rice, which we requested instead of the usual fried. And it was a lot of food, so I feel like it was a good value. But it wasn’t great.

I saw this place a few weeks ago tucked away in the ground level of an office building in western Centreville. Always up for good Chinese — I thought it was time to explore the Unilocaltitude of this place. Oh, and for the record, and for Kevin’s benefit — this ISNOT authentic Chinese as Kev is wont to inquire — it’s the usual Americanized stuff. Sue’s is a small place as you can see by the two photos I posted. There was no one else inside when I came in to place an order to go. It was a bit later in the evening, about 7:30 or so when I arrived. I ordered the spring rolls, Hot and Sour Soup, and Kung Pao Chicken. The lady at the counter told me it would be about 10 minutes. She then asked me about the dragon wrist torc I was wearing — she really liked it and wanted to know more about it. My food was ready in 5 minutes, when I came over to pick it up — she asked me if I taught at Virginia Tech(I was bearing my maroon VA Tech ball cap). I laughed and told her«no, I went to school there.» I got home and broke out the food. First up was the soup. I’ve never encountered this before, but there was an ingredient in this soup that was very fibrous, to the point of being inedible — I simply could not break it down no matter how much I chewed. So I went in the kitchen and spit it out. I came across more of this — not sure if it was Bamboo shoots or something else. While I ate most of the soup, and it tasted good, I ended up pitching the rest of it as I was tired of fishing through it to try and remove whatever it was that was causing this fiber problem. I then had one of the spring rolls. Before I left Sue’s, I asked if they had any«House» Chinese mustard. They did not — all they had were those crummy little mustard packets that don’t taste anything like real Chinese mustard. So I used one. The Spring roll was not bad. Then on to the Kung Pao Chicken. I had ordered it extra spicy. As I opened the container, I was hopeful as it looked and smelled good, and had a thick sauce accompanying it. Well, that was about as far as it went. It did not taste bad, it was most definitely NOT very spicy. I found a couple of those red chilies in it — but it did not add any noticeable fire. I really want to like Sue’s. Maybe someone else will have a better experience?
