I have been here multiple times to clean up my unibrow. In the past I have had great service. However, on April 25, 2015 approximately 4pm, She Bar lost a customer, maybe 2. Not only was I not acknowledged for about 10 minutes while one female was working on a customers brows and talking to another employee who was just sitting and talking, but once I was acknowledged, I was told my wait would be a few minutes. Once the one female finished her customer, she commenced to sitting in the mirror working on her make up, instead of inviting me into the chair. After about 3 or 4 minutes of watching her apply and refresh her makeup, I realized I was not next or even being considered for service, my friend and I (also a former customer) walked away. I found a new place and although a couple dollars more, the customer service is great. Bad customer service is the best way to lose customers.

Not my first time here, but they’re not more than 3 stars on a good day. I don’t often write negative reviews, however, I asked the man who just did my brows if he could be very sure he’d just «clean up» my brows because I’ve been growing out the previous hack job for 6 months. Simply put, I’m now starting all over again and I can’t go out without filling in my brows, which is worse than it was 6 months ago.

I stopped in on a whim, not really sure what this was, just to ask.
Did they do eyelashes? Yes. Perfect!
Did they do makeup? Yes. Even better!
Did someone have time soon? Yes. Yay!
So I had my makeup done with eyelashes to go out last night and I looked amazing! Honest. When my husband came to get me after he was done working he did a double take.
I’ve had my makeup done a bunch of times or I’ll just have lashes put on where I go for blowouts, but this girl did an amazing job. And she was a sweetheart.
I highly recommend her. Sorry I didn’t get her name!

I found a nice place to get a manicure. I can’t call it a new place but it is new to me. It was $ 16 to get a basic manicure. The manicure didn’t rush and she didn’t try to sell me on a pedicure or massage at the same time the way other places do. The only thing that I didn’t really like with the tall table and chair. It wasn’t that comfortable but still a very nice manicure and definitely worth going back to.

I decided to give this a try while I was shopping at the Century City mall. I have thick eyebrows that some people make it too thin or don’t do enough. Alvina was very nice and did a great job. She kept my natural shape and cleaned it up nicely. She was fast which minimized any pain. She was also thorough since there were no strays left behind.
It cost $ 15 for eyebrows and $ 7 for the upper lip. I wish they had an eyebrow and upper lip threading combo price like other places. They also offer monthly special prices, which I may consider if I do end up going here a lot.

I would never come here again. There were two ladies when I went, and neither were friendly or welcoming at all when I walked in. The lady who did my eyebrows was named Alvina, and when I politely asked her to not thread my brows too thin (since I’ve had multiple experiences where people have overthread my eyebrows), she gave me a weird kind of mocking attitude. Then, her and the other girl started to speak in a different language the whole time, almost giving the sense that they were talking about me. One of the most unfriendly places I’ve gotten my eyebrows done.

I come her all the time to get my eyebrows threaded and overall, I’m a fan. Ask for Josie, she really knows what she’s doing. I’ve had my eyebrows done by two other girls and I’ve been very unsatisfied with their work. I haven’t tried their other services but they overall have inexpensive services, so I think they’re worth checking out.

I have never had my hair done here. I do get my brows and upper lip threaded here occasionally. The service is always efficient and I have always been happy with my final appearance. The price is good too. Sometimes it does get a little hot with the sun shining in through the windows directly onto you while you are in the chair being threaded, so if you are sensitive to this like I am, I would recommend going first thing in the morning.
