Microtel Inn And Suites Modesto Ceres

There is poop on the top of the toilet seat. I do not need to say more. The initial appearance is one of cleanliness but if you take a closer look the cleaning job is pretty dreadful. At least the sheets are clean and it is inexpensive.

This hotel provides good bang for the buck. The appearance of the room was clean. It was a non-​smoking room but smelled a bit like smoke.
The breakfast was standard fare for a free breakfast. The front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The room was clean (happy to have a small refrigerator/​freezer, microwave and coffee maker in our room), the front desk personal was very courteous and the location was nice. They have a decent continental breakfast. We used the washer and dryer in the lobby area and had no issues. My only complaints would be that the shower head was broken (so you couldn’t change the water stream), the breakfast could use more fruit options than just apple or orange and our first housekeeper didn’t know how to work around a guests belongings (the complimentary soaps/​shampoo and extra roll of toilet paper were just left on the counter amongst or things). Overall, this was a very nice stay and we would stay here again!

Looks great on the outside. Very clean grounds, the building itself was well kept and looked nice. Pool area was clean. We checked in to our first room that had a safe that wasnt working. We needed a safe to keep some stuff in while we were out so we notified the front desk. The girl came up and tried to work the safe but it kept flashing an «error» message. She moved us to another room with a working safe but now the tv in the second room wouldnt work. We tried everything they told us to and still nothing. They were fully booked so moving to a third room wasnt an option. It would have been nice to watch football on Sunday from the comfort of your room instead of having to drive to a sports bar. 3 Stars for good customer service, staff was very accommodating and nice the entire time. Good clean rooms. It isnt a Hilton or Marriot but way better than a Motel 6.

Free breakfast, comfy and clean beds, and great pricing $ 55-​$ 70 make this a good choice if you need a stay and are traveling the 99.

This is our second time staying at the Microtel in Ceres and both times were amazing. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice. Our last stay this weekend (7÷25÷14−7÷27÷14) was great and everyone was very nice. We have stayed at other hotels in the Ceres and Modesto area and by far this has been the best in price, service, and comfort. Very family oriented there were a lot of baseball families staying at the hotel because of tournaments.

Check in through confirmation email said 1pm and then when i went it was 3 and they ran out of complimentary tooth brushes and toothpaste then the list of channels they supposedly had was a lie 10 of them they didnt have and furniture very outdated

Had to check out early from another hotel and called Microtel’s booking line in the morning (last minute). When I arrived, they had upgraded me to a larger room in order to accommodated an early check in. The keys worked! The room was clean with a vanity, kitchenette, and living area. The queen bed was comfy and the sheets were soft. Comfortable size bathroom. The front desk associate accommodated us perfectly.

They get one star for good price. Old rooms, mildew smelling carpets, poor service. Reserved room for 3 plus child. They only supplied 2 towels. No sheets for the hida bed. When we asked the girl at the desk for more, she was annoyed and would rather eat her McDonald’s than help. NEVER stay here

After entering the building… smells like wet carpet and smoke.
The night staff almost forgot to give me the key when checking in… and did not know anything about the fitness room. I asked her where is the fitness room and the hour… she doesn’t know and she also said that nobody asked those kind of questions…
