This store is wonderful. By my second visit, the owner knew my name and everyone has greeted me by it since. They have handmade clothes, purses, hats, backpacks, dolls, pins, bowties… and so much more! Even offer the option to make your own. A bit pricey for that stuff, but we’ll worth it. There is a huge selection of action figures and Lego to choose from, lots of art and tons of knick-knacks. My favorite cashier is a glasses donning little lady who is always enthusiastic and can chat you up about absolutely ANY interests you have. Want a geeky place with geeky people? You’ve found it here

Every nerds oasis. It is near impossible to leave this store without purchasing something awesome. Aside from the fantastic handmade clothes, jewelry, and art, customer service is friendly, welcoming, and above all genuine.

This place is hidden in a part of the Cerritos Mall that doesn’t seem to get too much foot traffic. We usually skip this side since it’s a kids playground area, some vending machines and a weird place that sells cabinetry — but on this day, we decided to see if anything new popped up. That’s when we met Geeky Mamas. When we walked up, we were confused by the name but instantly drawn in with the abundance of toys in plain site. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’re gonna love this place. They have a variety of figures from all series and they are reasonably priced. They also have a lot of comic book figures spanning the years as well as some movie toys from a variety of flicks. It was awesome seeing some of the old X-Men toys I had as a kid. I’m glad I practiced self control because I literally wanted to buy out an entire case of merch. The staff was really nice and answered any questions that I had. I’m always on the hunt of Movie Maniac toys and the guy working gave me some great tips on finding some of the hard to finds. I had never heard of this store and surprising enough they have a few locations with another opening soon. Definitely worth checking out next time you’re in the Cerritos Mall. It’s a fun place to browse.

Very cute store! I went to the Cerritos mall for this store because I saw it was on Unilocal and on my way home. Everything is well organized, neat, and super super cute. I love how I can now come here for cute stuff to wear to San Diego Comic Con. With the original clothes they sell I know I won’t see hundreds of other people wearing the same shirt as me as SDCC! They don’t have fitting rooms but will let you try something on if you ask :) I picked up an adorable Breaking Bad Heisenberg sweater and it was somewhere near the cost of $ 30. Not bad at all! Usually places like this can be a rip off. I live in Torrance but I will go back to Cerritos just for this store! Also I didn’t get her name but the girl working when I went in was so nice and gave awesome customer service :)

Great one of a kind, custom hand-made ideas from shirts and aprons to real unique dresses. A handful of manufactured goods like toys and books but really the attraction is the crafted goods ~ ranging from cult classic shows, movies and cartoons to new ones too ~ Like passing of the geek torch from me to my daughter(and son too).

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. First off, the hospitality is unmatched. I come in to the store(or frank and sons, or a convention) and I’m instantly greeted by the friendliest staff you could imagine. I always go stop by even if I don’t have the money to get anything that day. Next, I’ve bought 3 bags for myself, and two for my best friends, and the quality is amazing. I have one of the smaller Boba Fett inspired purses that I’ve used non-stop for over two years now. It is still in perfect condition. I’ve periodically used other bags(around the same price range) just to have them break, and I always end up coming back to this one. On top of all of that, the styles they have are amazing. Plus, the selection is the store is great as well! I’m overdue to come in, but I’ll be a customer for life! If you’re thinking about stopping by, or buying a bag, do NOT hesitate. It’s worth every penny.

Whenever I want to get my geek on, I don’t have to travel far. Los Cerritos Center has Geeky Mamas to curb my G4 nerd appetite. Located in the oft-neglected west wing section of the mall, where the old Nordstroms entrance used to be, Geeky Mamas carries a plethora of geek toys & paraphernalia. Everything related to pop culture such as Marvel, DC, WWE, and a Gipsy Danger Pacific Rim action figure are here, with an emphasis on Star Wars. I would so rock this Loki hat, but I don’t think it would fit my big dome. Service was friendly and helpful, as I didn’t hesitate to drop some nerd knowledge on the employee and she flung it right back at me in spades. Prices are reasonable, depending on what you’re looking for. I left with some new Spider-Man undies ;p Funny thing is, when I slip it on, it suddenly has a «webshooter» ;p BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA J/K Whenever you’re at the mall, stop by Geeky Mamas with your kids and for the kid that still lives in your imagination. Highly recommend! BTW, I wonder when Freaky Mamas is going to open up? ;p

Awesome little store tucked away into the deserted hallway of Cerritos mall. They have a collection of «geeky» merchandise including Star Wars, Doctor Who and video game stuff. I’ve recently become a fan of Doctor Who so I was so awed by all the cool shirt, handmade pins and bags. I bought this amazing shirt that had a Disney/Doctor Who theme going on. The people working here are always super friendly and helpful. I just wish the store was bigger and had a little more variety.

I am so glad I randomly decided to go to Cerritos mall today. I noticed the name of the store and had to go check it out. It’s wonderful. Great selection of wonderfully girly geeky merchandise. They make custom bags and dresses. I saw comic themed, star wars, Dr. Who. All the geek touchstones. The two girls working were great and super friendly. Best part is that they are actual geeks! I picked up an awesome game of thrones necklace and a wonder woman comic wallet. Definitely check the store out if you like walking on the geeky side of life.

Nerdy stores don’t often come around as much as I would like them too. This store is definitely memory-lane, having memorabilia items from my Wonder Years(HA! I love that show) They have Star Wars stuff, Nintendo stuff, a few comic-related items. The customer service is spot-on amazing. Nerds helping nerds is pretty fun because you actually feel like you can have a decent conversation with a sales person. I just have a problem with the lack of items/variety. I know Star Wars is amazing, but ½ the store is Star Wars stuff. One aisle is dedicated to wrestling action figures, which is completely AGAINST what this store is about. I wandered around here and kinda felt like this store could use a lot more nerd-i-ness, but it’s not my store. I was having a conversation with one of the employees and found that the location of this store kinda sucks, since its tucked away in a sort of hidden part of the mall, but that helps with customer service, seeing as how this store doesn’t have a million kids running around touching everything, I’ll be back for sure, and am hoping to see more nerd variety.

Yeah, it’s definitely geeky but this place caters to both guys and gals. You’ll find the usual Star Wars items like action figures and puzzles, but they also have handmade bags and purses for the ladies with Star Wars theme. Check these out: Selection isn’t as extensive as the Puzzle Zoo in Santa Monica but it has its own charm. I did find couple of vintage Star Wars figures including Boba Fett in its original package: If the Boba Fett figure is still there, I will probably end up buying it.
