I started coming here when they first opened and I can say from the time this place opened to now the staff has always been friendly and polite. The restaurant is nice and clean. The pepperoni pizza is absolutely amazing. The owner is a really nice guy too! They have a great menu aside from pizza. :)

I just tried to phone in an order and the number was out of order. I went there to order is person and they are closed! The lady at Rubios said they closed Sat. 8⁄19! This was a great pizza joint with friendly people and good food. They always close the good places.

Really friendly service here. Family owned/operated joint. Takes about 7 minutes to get your slice since they heat it up for you. I know there are other eateries in the complex, but when I work or study at SBUX — I want something that is easy, good, cheap, and satisfies my craving for cheese and grease. The place has a small bar area that seats 3 looking up at nice flat screen. They serve beer as well which is cool. Probably will hit this place up during college football season when I need a break from work and want to chill for an hour or so. $ 4.40 for a slice and a pop. Can’t beat it. And it is very tasty.

This review is for the pizza only. I only come here for the pizza, i’ve never tried anything else. I don’t know what all these other people are talking about when they say«it’s just average» or whatever… but this place? It’s AMAZING, I come here with my boyfriend ALL the time, and I love it. I seriously could eat this pizza every week. Yes, the pizza is a bit on the greasy side, but it’s not a big deal, I just dab my pizza with a napkin before I eat it. ITSSOGOOD. I cannot stress that enough. This guy, I don’t know his name, but I believe he’s the owner or manager because he’s always there, ISSONICE. He makes the pizza taste better. And I’m saying this because once I went in to grab a slice of pepperoni pizza and he wasn’t there, and the lady who served me was rather. unfriendly and looked like she didn’t want to be there, so that made my pizza a lot less enjoyable. So grab pizza when that guy is there. You can’t miss him, he’s EXTREMELY friendly, and so nice. :) I love this place so much, I told my boyfriend I want a North End pizza party for my birthday…(: yummmmyy !!

Stopped in randomly for a slice of pizza just to get an idea of the place. I was hesitant because I thought it would be some plain ol’ piece of pizza, but this actually had quality behind it and great flavor. OVERALL: Their pastas and such look tempting, maybe I’ll swing by some other time. Like I always say, YOUWON’T KNOWUNLESSYOUTRYITFORYOURSELF!

I helped some friends move into a new apartment in Burbank and like good friends they paid me in pizza and beer! We got 5 pizzas from Northend, 2 plain, 2 pepperoni, and one pineapple. There were 6 of us and only pizza survived to the following day, but barely. The pizza has a delicious dough, a nice acidic flavorful tomato sauce with a healthy layer of cheese. The pepperoni was delicious and permeated the whole pie with meaty peppery goodness. The pineapple was gone in less than 5 minutes. The crust was up for debate, some liked it, some didn’t, and some don’t eat crust. So to that I can only speak my own opinion which is that it was the right amount of crunchy and doughy. It may have just been the exhaustion and starvation from the moving process, but everyone kept raving about how great the pizza was. I’m pretty sure I’ll be having Northend again in the near future!

I’ve been coming to North End Pizza for lunch for a couple of years. The pizza is good but I come for their meatball sandwich. The cheese is the best and they load it up so the the whole sandwich is covered in melted cheese. They also include a pepperoncini on the side. The service is warm and friendly.

Good. Nothing special though. Just average. I got a salad and a slice. The salad was lots of lettuce with a chunk of tomato and a couple olives with ranch dressing. Kinda boring but okay. The pizza slice was large in size. Greasy — the sort of pizza that you take your napkin and use it as a blotter to sop up the excess grease. I concede the greasiness was not helped by the toppings I ordered. Lots of pepperoni and black olives. The thin crust was tasteless but better than anything you’d get at a grocery store. The staff here are so friendly and give excellent customer service. Which is what pushes me to give it three stars.

Eye on the Pie I can’t resist a good pizza pie! The harmonious balance of flavor and ingredients are always key. Sure, I like to load my homemade pizza with the works & then some BUT it never seems to come out the way it should. :sigh: It’s all good because North End is a local Cerritos pizza joint that ain’t half bad. The Gist: *Décor and environment is descent with nothing overly fancy *The vibe is very relaxed and homey *There’s a small bar top area since they serve beer and wine *You can watch some TV to keep you occupied if need be *Indoor & outdoor seating available if you want to dine in *The menu is filled with the usual pastas, salads, desserts, and of course, pizza! *Taste and quality is just a tad bit above average; not bad but not gourmet *Daily specials(a slice & soda is always offered for about 4 bucks) *Staff is nice and remembers my lil family; I think we always see the owner && I have yet to encounter the women Lia J. talks about in her review(thank goodness). I’ve been here plenty of times and nothing bad or dissatisfying has ever happened. North End has nicely priced beer(about 3.50 a bottle) and pizza that puts a smile on my kids faces… then again, pizza never makes a KID sad!

I soooo want to give this place 5 stars but its a 3 unfortunately. I love their pizza and its a great deal for a large pizza with 6 toppings! but there’s always some kind of glitch when I go there. my first visit, I went with my boyfriend and the lady was so nice! We printed out coupons from and as soon as we pulled it out to use it… she had this weird look on her face and says«ohhhh we don’t accept those anymore» then she saw that we had purchased more than one coupon for their business so she says«oh i see that you purchased more than one, i’ll take it but just for today»…I appreciated her doing that for us but at the same time… on , their policy specifically states that all restaurants have to honor it even if they discontinue. ugh! that pissed me off. anyways we ordered a sicilian style pizza and she brings it out and says«ohh im sorry i accidently made it traditional style» soooo i was like uhhhhh okay… but fortunately the pizza was really good. so I was happy about that. Second visit: lady was nice and remembered us from our first visit and was very friendly. We ordered a sicilian style pizza again and this time she got it right but it was cold. not lukewarm but COLD on some spots. ugh! third visit: We get there and I smiled and said hi to the lady and this time she didnt smile back or anything or wave or say hi back nothing! so bipolar that lady! I just resorted to assuming it was menopause. we order our pizza and go sit at our table. about 10 minutes later she comes out with a plate of garlic cheese bread and marinara sauce saying«here you go guys enjoy» me and my boyfriend looked at eachother because we didnt order this but we thought it was like on the house and maybe it was their new thing bringing out bread before the food comes out. then 5 minutes later she realizes it was for the family behind us and her tone and facial expression looked like she was blaming us! unbelievable! so so so so over this lady and this place.

Did nothing to do on the Friday or Saturday night so decided to have a date with my folks over delivery pizza. Looked for a place near me on Unilocal that had the fewest number of reviews and fell upon North End Pizza. Found the website for the menu and not only did they have a menu, but also offered online ordering capability. I ordered an 18-inch cheese pizza($ 12.95) with the toppings fresh basil, pepperonchinis, artichoke heart, and pesto($ 1.50 per topping) along with an order or fried zucchini($ 3.95). I also added an order of fried zucchini to boost my order over the minimum $ 20 to qualify for delivery, which is free of charge. Though the website said I’d receive the order around 9:30, the confirmation email stated that the delivery time would be around 9:11pm. After 9:30, I called the joint to ask about my online order and the friendly guy who answered knew exactly who I was(guess I was the only person ordering online on a Saturday night. How unexpected.) and said it’d be on its way soon. Received my order around 9:40 and took a photo of the meal(it’s posted). The quality of the pizza was reasonable and exactly what I was expecting. It wasn’t a grandiose gourmet pizza but as for delivery pizza, it was great and I love that they even offered 4 of my favorite ingredients for food. If they had sun-dried tomatoes, I’d wet my pants with excitement. However, the fried zucchini was sliced very thinly and had more breading than vegetable. Pretty decent for delivery.

North End, how could you disappoint me this time. I came here the other week and I hate writing bad reviews, but I’m hoping the owner would see this so they can make some improvements on certain things. I’ve been coming here pretty often and it upsets me when they get stingy on certain things. First off, their service is still a 5 star. They are absolutely friendly you can’t take that away from them. The 3 star is for the portion size, taste and price. I’m the type that likes things quick, I get what I want and leave. I ordered my spinach lasagna to go, and I’ve had their lasagna before, I don’t understand what’s different this time, but the taste was so stale. The flavor just wasn’t there and the pasta in it was stiff to taste. Also, the portion size changed? I paid for the usual price of almost $ 10 for one slice of lasagna, which is a good price but seriously they gave me half of the usual slice I normally get here. Did we cut back on sauce, pasta, spinach, and taste but not on the price here? Hello!!!

North End is still one of the best places to eat in Cerritos. Period. The food and the service are consistently great. If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out.

Went back a couple nights ago(the first time since the last review) and I dunno if I just had a bad night last time, or I was exceptionally hungry this time… but my pizza was fucking good. I didn’t order anything, I was the one grabbing a table. We ended up having garlic bread with cheese on top which was really good(but that’s easy, I’ve never had messed up garlic bread). Then out came the Caesar salads which I really enjoyed. I asked for extra dressing because it was sort of dry and the guy brought out this huuuuuuge portion cup full of the dressing. No extra charge, thought that was nice. Then the pizza was presented. It was a deep-dish style pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. I have to say, absolutely everything that goes into that pizza is marvelous but there’s something about the sauce that I do not like. I remember it from last time, too, so maybe it’s just a preference, but the sauce is very«meh» to me… it seems funny. Like I said though, everything else = delicious.

3 stars for taste. 1 extra star for«amenities» including: cleanliness, friendliness, fair prices, garlic powder/pepper flakes that are self-service, refillable fountain drinks, spacious, «bar» and one big screen tv. Quantity over quality trumps all in my book. $ 17.95 for a large, 6 topping is quite a steal. Especially if you’re eating by yourself… for the fatties or fellow bulimics, I recommend: pepperoni, sausage, onion, garlic(comes minced), basil and jalapenos. Sometimes the pizza comes with an extra free topping, grease. My only minor complaint is the inconsistent temperature. Twice, just right. Twice, slightly undercooked. An extra 3 – 5 minutes would have been perfect. Nice staff.

In a shopping center/strip mall, you’d expect for there to be a pizza place. Here at the Cerritos Towne Center, North End Pizzeria serves as that pizza place. North End Pizzeria is your typical Italian quick-service restaurant — that is, you order at the counter, and they bring the food out to you. The menu is pretty typical, and if you eat at a lot of Italian places, you should know what they offer here. From the pastas to the sandwiches to the pizza, they got it all here, not to mention the salads and appetizers. They have lunch specials, which is why I go to North End. The pizzas are a lot better than I expected. The dough is thin and crisp, so it holds up the toppings well. The crust is thick enough that it actually breaks off evenly, and can be used as a breadstick. The cheese is sticky, which is something I don’t like because I have to keep pulling it with my teeth until it breaks off. These pizzas sadly fall into the category of blotters, where if you press on your pizza slice with a napkin, it will absorb much of the grease. The pastas are great here, as you can build your own pasta. I’m a sucker for gnocchi and tortellini — add to that their pesto sauce, and it is absolutely delicious. Their menu does include sandwiches, albeit they are right next door to a Great Steak & Potato Co. Personally, if I want a sandwich, I will go there, not North End. Sorry North End, but your cheesesteak doesn’t compare to Great Steak’s. Fast, cheap, good, and convenient, North End is a great place to go to get your Italian food fix. It’s no wonder I always see business people here on their lunch breaks.

One of my favorites for pizza in LA. Both the thick Sicilian pizza and the thin are good, though I like the thinner one more. Always super-friendly, usually have sports on, and sometimes have been known to put on cartoons for my kids. Pastas are good too, as are the salads. The Antipasto is one of my staples here when I’m trying to be somewhat healthy. Super-generous portion on this $ 8 salad too. Unlike a lot of little places they’ll freely go off the menu and make up some special pasta or pizza toppings or salads, just tell them what you want and they’ll figure out the price. I’m not sure why it’s listed as moderate pricing, and entrée with a drink comes out to about $ 10, less at lunch. Matt, the owner, is very friendly and engaging and tries to make you feel at home, which is a nice touch at a counter service style joint.

This place is heavily under rated. I personally think it’s cause it’s located in Cerritos Town Center which isn’t that great of a spot. Pizza here is delicious. What is even better is their Bread sticks with or without cheese served with marinara.

This place is ok. I am not 100% sure why i cant get my head around it but i think its the setup. The pizza is alright but certainly not as good as Ave 3 down the road. I did go in again the other day for a eggplant parmigan sandwich. Its very tasty. The prices seem to be okay but nothing great. My personal feeling is that it should be a little cheaper but what the heck. The major drawback to this place is that you have teams of young highschool and slightly older kids hanging out in front of all these store fronts just chain smoking the shit out of cigeretts. Its a bit nasty. Ive done it for dinner once and pizza was okay. Really more of a lunch spot I think for me at least. I wanted to love this place because of my Boston backround. I actually walked quite a while in the summer heat of boston to eat real pizza from the North End once. This is not the same. Bummer!
