Razor is awesome! Take it from someone that is totally partial and completely biased! :)

Had a problem with our Razor electric scooter and spoke to Debbie in customer service. She was patient and understood the problem. My scooter was under warranty and she had sent me the rear wheel to fix the problem. Thanks Debbie!

I recently helped my niece buy a Razor Eco Smart Metro and somehow the rear tire was mis aligned and the several spoke broke off. So I went to the website of Razor to find out where and how they can help me purchase a replacement for the whole wheel assembly. My goodness first they say they do not manufacture it anymore and so they do not have it. Meanwhile they refer you to other distributors or service centers that also say they do not have it available and that I will have to call Razor back again to order for the parts, but I said I was referred by Razor to them. Basicaly, it was really poor service or no service at all. So my recommendation to you who’s thing of buying any product from them, do not buy from them as:(1) they really have bad customer support and no parts to find for models they are still selling in stores. They will not even point you to a right direction of the product so you can get help. So sad :(VERYVERYPOOOOOOOOOR Customer Service. Buy from them at your own risk. If you were thinking of buying any product from them, think again. Do not even patronize this company.

After sending them this link and posting a comment on Facebook, I received a phone call, the tires that light up, stickers, and a t shirt for my daughter. Just wish it wouldn’t gone this far just remember common sense customer service.

Razor Scooters — BEWARE! If you bought a razor scooter for your child beware. We took our 3 children to the school yard to play for a while, they each had their razor scooters. My 3 year old son fell to the side and the handle bar sliced his ear open in the shape of a U! His earlobe was dangling… the scooter handle bar cut down to his cartilage. He had to have about 40 stitches, 2 differnt MDs worked on his ear — the first stopped and requested a specialist and plastic surgeon. My poor son was in excruciating pain as they stitched his ear not once but twice so that the plastic surgeon could stitch the lobe and INTO the beginning of his ear canal. Now I am watching for a fever — he’s on heavy duty antibiotic because his temperature was going up and his pediatrician explained if he gets a fever, we will have to admit him for IV antibiotic because of the area of infection and the possible threats it poses. I called Razor to let them know what happened and guess what — the piece that is supposed to block that part is removable — REMOVABLE… are you kidding me! NOTHING that is as sharp as a knife and can slice through any part of your body should be REMOVABLE! ESPECIALLY on a child’s toy! It’s very deceiving — the rubber handle is still on the scooter, it’s that little cap just inside that you can overlook that can going missing! My poor son, he’s in terrible pain and discomfort, I haven’t slept since Friday trying to make sure he can sleep and doesn’t lay on his injured ear. RAZOR needs to make that piece — ONESOLIDPIECE that on one should ever have a chance at having the same freak accident we did. From one parent to another CHECK your scooter AGAIN and AGAIN!
