Okay. This place is a hit or miss depending on what time and day you go. Definitely busier during dinner and weekends. I’ve been here on multiple occasions and more or less it is not bad. With a $ 10.99(used to be $ 9.99) AYCEKBBQ, let’s not complain too much about service, eh? It is not the greatest but we were never ignored and always get our food and banchan soon after we ask for them. The most recent visit(February 2016), they seem to have some new servers, plating, and meat quality? The ahjumoni that served us was really good and refilled our banchan even before we asked for new ones. Plenty of sauce to go around as they are all on the table now. Meat quality wise, I was pleasantly surprised that it was good during my last visit. Like I said, sort of hit or miss on when they have a fattier or meatier chadol, samgyupsal and bulgogi. My friends and I only usually eat those so we like this place. Overall, I would recommend this if you are on a budget(college life forever lol) and do not mind NOT coming during prime time. Or else the wait can be 1 – 1:30 hours long.

Came here with some friends and the place was very busy. The wait wasn’t too bad for 3 people and we ere promptly sat down. Red Palace is one of the few that offer the cheap $ 10 options and it’s probably one of the best I’ve had for $ 10.

This place is always something to look forward too. The atmosphere and food go hand in hand that you’re always in for a great meal. My only concern is that they only give you 1 napkin and if you ask for more they will only give you a limited amount. Also be prepared to wait 30+ minutes if you come in during peak times!

This was my first time here and it’s a pretty good place for a $ 10.99 ayce. I was surprised that the cheapest ayce set included squid. The place was pretty good and the service was decent. It’s was a fairly interesting night seeing the owner of the restuarunt chase down a group of college kids who apparently tried to «dine and dash». Thankfully they were caught haha.

This place only allows you to eat there if there are more than one person, if you are alone or just want to eat something go somewhere else. There were tables there for me to sit at, there were no lines and I was hungry but I couldn’t eat there because I was by myself. I don’t think that’s very nice or consumer friendly.

$ 10KBBQ isn’t so bad(especially if you’re a college student) and this place can be decent! I’ve been here a few times and the quality of the meat is a hit or miss. Today, the meat tasted more flavorful and tasty compared to meat from my previous visits. Side dishes were decent too, but I wish they had the broccoli doused with sesame oil today. Service is ehh. I felt rushed towards the end because it was starting to get busier. I’d give it 3 and a half stars if service were a bit better.

The BEST $ 10ALLYOUCANEAT in town! My family and I frequent this restaurant about once a week. The service is fast, quick, and friendly. The quality of the meats is superb! I always leave here happy and satisfied! I recommend this restaurant to all my friends!

Holy shit. $ 9.99 usd for AYCEKBBQ? Unheard of back in Toronto. I love the sauce and seasoning they use in SoCal omg… They had a pretty good selection for the price. My favourite was the beef belly… hngggH. Never have I ever felt so un-pressured at an AYCE place to get my weight’s worth in food, which totally enhanced the experience. Service was okay. They weren’t too difficult to wave down for me compared to other KBBQ places and when we asked for more macaroni they gave us like triple serving. In fact, all our meat portion servings were big too. I personally always prefer potato salad but this macaroni salad better than most. Cleanliness definitely needs work. Their floors were kinda slippery and dirty looking. I went to the restroom and the toilets were shitty too, literally. To be fair, I think a worker was about to clean it because I ran into him on the way in. I didn’t really notice cleanliness though because foOD too GOoOD.

Tip: Good place for KBBQ but service is slow so prepare to wait if you need anything. The prices are affordable and for all you can eat KBBQ. It’s decently nice inside with music and the environment is good. The times I been there have been no bad times(I always go on weekends) but if you’re looking for a KBBQ and yore a beginner eating at these types of places I recommend going here first.

The place is pretty good for being a cheap KBBQ!!! My friends and I came at 9:45pm last minute on a weekday. There were a lot of people in the restarurant, which means a lot of people like it and are willing to be here to eat all-you-can-eat KBBQ. I feel like there’s needs to be more waiters, There’s not enough of them to meet the needs. I say this because we ordered the package deal of $ 9.99 which states all unlimited food items you can order within that deal. #whatadeal We ordered meats and miso soup. The meats came fairly quickly. however, we asked different waiters 3 times for miso soup. In addition, even water took a really long time to come. We waited for a long time and the soup didn’t even come. It wasn’t until the last waiter that said they’re still cooking it. By the end of our meal, we didn’t even get the soup. oh well, but we were full and felt satisfied in our tummies :) Parking was easy since it was the only store around the center that was opened that late.

I want to give this place more stars becus i come once a week. This place is inconsistent. Honestly my review is an update over the fast four months. Alex– An amazing worker/server. Im over pleased with him he’s over the top. Over the last few months i had some decent service amd some great ones. There’s a new guy with glasses he’s good. An older woman with glasses and skinny who is pretty sweet. Recently went in and they had a new hostess/waitress, skinny, warmer skin tone with black hair. She touches her hair alot then serves food without washing her hands. She purposely ignores our tables multiple times when we try to get her attention. She seats ppl who has bigger group than yours(tips purposes). So when being first group of two there and another group of 4 came in she sat them down first… i made a face and my husband look at cashier. No apology was given? Finally sat dow. After a few mins.

SERVICESUCKS * No meat on grill, but one plate of meat left on table * * Guy comes by * Guy: All done?(We didn’t reply yet) * turns off grill * Me: We still have one more plate * Turns grill back on * Me: Can we get our grill changed please? * We obviously need a new grill * Guy: That’s your last plate? Me: Yeah Guy: No, it’s still fine WHATTHESERVICE?!? Now my group is forced to cook our last plate of meat on a crusty grill. I don’t understand. What I do know is that I’m never coming back ever again.

Affordable Korean BBQ that tastes pretty good for what you pay. You can get unlimited BBQ for under $ 10 here!!! That’s crazy! The meat and the sides are pretty tasty. I love pork Bulgolgi. It’s a definite must try. The only downside to this restaurant is that they seemed to be under staffed when we came in. They were super busy and seemed even a little frazzled. They were nice but just seemed a little stressed out. Also, the vent above our BBQ must not have been working because the smoke from the BBQ kept blowing in my face. It was very uncomfortable. This is a cute little hip restaurant full of a younger crowd. Affordable, friendly, and tasty.

I usually go to Gen but was feeling a bit cheap and decided to try Red Palace instead. Honestly, for $ 9.99, it’s a killer deal! I came here with my mom one evening and waited for a good 20 minutes or so to get a table. We ordered option A and had bulgogi, brisket, squid, chicken and miso soup. Yum! The meats were all good — even the brisket which is just a tad too fatty for my liking. The service is definitely on the lower end. We gave up on trying to locate our waiter and just asked whoever was passing by for anything we needed. Cons: No grill change, you have to ask them for sesame oil and salt and pepper as well as any refills, and the table doesn’t feel particularly clean(sort of generally oily like it got a hurried wipe down after the last patron). Oh, and loud music. I would still come back here when I’m feeling in the mood for inexpensive and delicious kbbq, though!

It’s so cold in there in the winter. You’d think that you’d get warm with a hot grill right in front of you but you don’t. Would be nice if a heater was on low somewhere in there. Pros: Variety of meats to choose from for $ 9.99 Miso soup included Cons: After the first serving of potato salad, you get macaroni salad refills It’s cold in there during the winter nights No more ice cream Miso soup is given by individual servings instead of the pot shown in most pictures 1 rice paper plate per table(other places with the same price give a rice paper plate per person) Service sucks it’s like they perpetually ignore you when they walk around Didn’t get any oil and salt and pepper sauce on the table, didn’t bother asking because it was a hassle getting their attention Pay for leftover uneaten meats While they have about 7 meats to choose from just for $ 9.99, the cons still outweighed the pros.

I came here with a friend a little earlier in the day around 10:30AM after finals. We were seated right away. There were a few options on the menu. $ 9.99 $ 13.99 and $ 17.99. I personally think the $ 9.99 is an awesome deal for me because those are the only meats i’ll really order on the menu. — Beef bulgogi = amazing! I loved how the marinade wasn’t too sweet. It was very flavorful — Brisket was good. A lot of fat. yummy! Couldn’t find the brisket sauce though :/ –Pork bulgogi had the same marinade as the beef bulgogi. — Meat quality was great for the price! This has quickly become one of my favorite KBBQ spots. The only downside, customer service sucks. –1 star

Unilocal Challenge 2015272⁄365 *updated* When trustworthy Unilocaler reviews(Nick H) that led you here start downgrading places it is time to listen. I am sorry Jessica P, you did tell me it was not the same. I wish I listened to you. But we really wanted to show out of towner friends this place and the price was perfect. It has been a while since I have been here. I was always turned off my the long wait times for dinner. Luckily our party of 6 got here before 6:00pm on a Sunday night. Surprisingly we were called within a few minutes and before other parties. I think it is because they want the entire party present before seating them. Im not going to lie. Service here is not the same as it was before. The servings are a lot smaller too. Seems like they only have a handful of forks. We asked for a couple of forks, but they said they were all dirty and being washed. Halfway through our meal we asked for a grill change. The woman looked at our grill and said«later» then walked away. What does later mean? Later? Do eat what’s left and we stop cooking? We asked someone else 10 minutes later to change the grill as our grill got nastier, he told us to take off our meat, then he swipped it out. Refills of meats, salad, ect took longer than it should have. They have a bad habit of turning down the grill. They turn it down, we turn it up. We played 10 rounds of this game. Why do they insist on keeping it low? The chicken and pork take sooooooooooo long to cook when the heat is down. We were so hungry. Just as it starts cooking real good, they move in like a Ninja and without words adjust the heat. The bathroom was nasty. No wonder I have public bathroom phobia. No toliet covers left. Empty toliet paper roller and empty paper towels. Perhaps they don’t know how to refill everything so they leave it on the counter. Floor was dirty and wet. Maybe I should blame it on the GUY who went in the women’s bathroom. 3 stars because my friends really liked Red Palace and my husband still likes Red Palace. The price is good. $ 9.99AYCE, with 10% discount if your under 8. Which was appreciated. Dinner for 6 was $ 65.00. No pre added tip, like most places do. **updated**

This place rocks for $ 10. Seriously, can you complain about the service for $ 10? Nope. Tons of meat. Everyone orders the first 3 on the menu though. I felt like they had great service but others didn’t seem to think so. I ordered miso soup! They give you a huge ass kettle to pour as much as you’d like. So cool. Way more sides than Mr Lees. Yeah I don’t think I’ll go to Mr Lees now that I know about this place. I’m stinky as heck because the exhaust fans didn’t seem to work tonight. Extremely hot inside too. I arrived at 630p on a Saturday and was seated in 15 minutes. Plenty of parking. I loved the marinated beef! A must order. Brisket and marinated pork was whatever haha. I ate a bunch of salad too. I’ll be back. Yum

The old manager is gone and things are different. The service is cold and extremely lacking. My buddy and I had terrible service. They make you order three different meats right off the bat. The meat is not the same either. We also pointed out that our salad was wilted and old but we were shut down. We talked to one cool guy but he was not our server. He mentioned the management changed. Dear Red Palace, we loved you. Now, after the recent experience, my buddy and I decided we wont be back. You lost two regulars. Bring back the old style and let me know… otherwise, so long. Your old manager was a rock star!

So service here has phenomenally improved. Quite fittingly for a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon, we were being catered to by 5 different jovial servers. It was super and a-w-e-s-o-m-e! And they had a broader selection of banchans this time. Instead of 5 they had 7! My husband and I realized that we demand a lot when we eat KBBQ(sesame oil, extra napkins, extra rice paper, more potato salad, lots of ice water, more broccoli [which they don’t have here]) — and to any server that can keep up with our ridiculous requests, they deserve a trophy. The servers granted our every wish, willingly with hospitable grins. Dude, I don’t know what it was(maybe I suffered from Red Palace withdrawals) but the food here was soOoOo effing BOMB this time, I couldn’t stop saying how bomb I felt it was. Brilliant table service this past Saturday, hope it continues.
