First time customer and I am very pleased with the end results! Breanne was very attentive, knowledgable and sweet. She has her craft down to a tee. I went in to rejuvenate my lack luster hair and got a much needed hair cut and jumped on the ombré band wagon. I will surely be a returning customer!

I got my hair dyed by Elizabeth/Liz, first time dying my hair, and I got it bright blue. Very pleased with the results! Gonna pick the«moderate» option for price range because even though it seemed pricey to me because it was my first time with color, it seemed an appropriate amount for the time and effort put into doing it.

I love going here, my stylist Melina is the best. I moved out of state, any time I come back I go get my hair cut. Can’t wait to be in Cali 7⁄23 already have my appointment set up. I have natural kinky curly hair and Melina always has my hair on point.

After years of constantly Brazilian blowing, cutting, ironing, coloring my hair to every spectrum of the rainbow, Tam Tran is a godsend! She was able to lift my hair in one sitting to such a pretty blonde. It never turned brassy. Unfortunately, with my hair texture I decided to convert back to my roots. I’m a true goth anyway. I love the pretty brown my hair is now, and it’s more flattering with my skin tone. She books way in advance, and I’m glad I finally got to see her. Super reasonably priced too! I will make her my stylist for life.(Did that sound creepy?)

Breanne did an amazing job with my hair! She washed, cut it, thinned it out and curled it. She was really nice and you could tell she really likes what she does. Her sister lindsey did my make-up and I was extremely satisfied with the look! She was super sweet and she knew exactly what she was doing! I’m really impressed with this place and will definitely be coming back.

This is an update, in response with the business owner’s very negative and very public feedback posted to my original review below. I also knocked down another star for this. Upon posting a review, I have received a response from the business owner who emphasized the fact that it was my responsibility to communicate with them for any mishaps with my hair service, and it was wrong to post a response 3 months later. There was no mention about other issues that I had in my visit, like failing to mention about the 7 day re-do policy, a long wait, and overall customer service I write reviews to not only help our the community but also give positive feedback and constructive criticism for business owners. In no way, shape or form I intend to bring a business down. Unfortunately, exchanging messages with the business owner was definitely not pleasant, and made my outlook of this business worse. 3 issues I had here: 1. Original issues in my visit: like I said in my review, I didn’t have the most friendliest service and my wait time for highlights took longer than promised(20 minutes to over an hour). These issues were not addressed since being contacted by the business owner. 2. Not knowing the 7 day re-do policy: Like I said before in my review, my hairstylist was pretty quiet and didn’t talk much to me. I honestly had no idea of the policy. It would have been great to know so my hair could have been fixed. 3. The response from the business owner: The response I have received from the owner had attitude right from the start, as you can see from the public feedback and also in her private messages(which were even worse). Yes, it was 3 month delayed review, but time should not be a factor to making things right. Its terrible to hear from the business owner that I just do «Yelp review binges» and that I am not like«a normal human being» by not giving feedback right away… first off, if the service was done correctly the first time, my review would have been different. Second, if only I knew about the re-do policy during my visit, I would have taken advantage right away. Third: whether it’s 3 days, 3 months or even 3 years… the experience didn’t change and my feedback/negative review should have been an opportunity to MAKETHINGSRIGHT no matter how much time has lasped. instead the owner decided to ignore other important issues I have mentioned and attacked me for a perfectly honest review(where her only argument was that I failed to communicate the issue privately –_-). If they really guarantee their services, is it too late to invite me back and see what could be fixed, even 3 months later? Did they not know I have the power to not only change my review, but help their business? If only I wasn’t personally attacked and instead received a friendly response, I could have gladly come back, paid full price for any fix they suggested, edited my review, and recommended friends to try out their business. I believe in second chances… I have given other businesses second chances in the past and I could have done the same with this business. but with the attitude and response i have received. now there’s NO chance. My mildly negative review resulted in a totally negative response, as you can see by the long and public response from the owner. To be honest, no one comes here to look at me, they look at the business: I’m sure customers would hate to read the owner comment and would stay away from that, no matter what the situation is. Either way, this was just one bad experience from me. I sincerely hope the feedback helps the business fix these 3 issues. I would hate to have someone else experience the same thing I did. *****Original review(2 stars)****** I felt spontaneous one Friday afternoon, and I was able to score a last minute hair appointment here. I usually never know what to do with my hair so I asked my hairstylist for a suggestion. She suggested warm highlights, which I agreed to do. Usually I like talking with my hairstylist whenever I do my hair, but my hairstylist that day was pretty quiet and not as friendly… not sure if it was just me or not. While I waited for my highlights, I was promised 20 minutes of waiting but it was extended to over an hour. This was largely due to my hairstylist helping another person(which is totally understandable) but it definitely would have been nice for my hairstylist to regularly give me updates of an ETA. Also, I was worried that the extended time would damage my hair… Anyways, I kept quiet and had my hair colored(caramel) and finished which looked nice in the end. Because the highlights were put on for too long, the caramel color faded away within a week :(Now I just have yellow highlights with my natural dark down hair, lol. Because it was my first visit, I was able to use the 20% off Unilocal check in deal, which was really nice to have. However, I wouldn’t come here again largely due to service I had.
