T.J. Maxx

I think I am starting to like TJ Maxx a lot more than before… it definitely beats stores like Ross, Old Navy, etc.
If you are looking for brand name or even non-​brand name clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc. at a lower price than what you will find in the malls, this is the place to go!
They carry Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and many more!
Just be careful … you may walk out of there spending a lot more than you anticipated. :)

Large lot. Not much else in the complex so there is always plenty of parking. The store is usually kept very clean.

Clean and well stock store alot of designer brands to choose from from shoes, clothes and underwear parking is not a problem too.

I love TJ Maxx and seeing that the area has no Runway locations and I still needed to shop, I came to this location.
Twice now, first time around 10 am, well they don’t open till 11, really? In this day and age???
Week later, I came in the afternoon, large store, plenty of parking.
Very clean and well stocked.
Found some amazing deals on designer clothes at the clearance rack, the guys found some stuff, no line at check out, pretty great location, I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!

Never have a problem here.

This story is very well organized and I’m always visiting on my lunch break to see the new items that they have.

I was here last night looking for a shawl for work (freezing temps), instead I ended up with 3 blouses for $ 40. TJ Maxx has an extensive selection and great deals on bags/​purses, jewelry and accessories and tops. I love it that they have a dedicated sales person at the jewelry counter, big plus. When I’m in the Cerritos area, I make it a point to stop by this store to check out on good deals.
what i love the most:
1. ample parking
2. full staff at the registers
3. dedicated salesperson at the jewelry counter
what I don’t like:
1. return policy (they seem to frown on returns, one time I returned something the cashier had to have it ok’d by the manager first)

Well it’s more 3.4. I thought I’d round down.
I have known about this place for years. But I’ve been avoiding it much like how I avoid Ross – you know, because of the messiness, noisiness, long lineness etc.
You get the picture.
But I was wrong.
I came to TJ Maxx out of desperation hoping to find something to dress up my foyer. But I found something else! A hidden gem. It is organized! It doesn’t look like crap that just got thrown together. They have this digital thing that lights up to tell you which cashier to go.
The only missing piece is it’s hard to find anyone to help you. They have these smaller than usual shopping carts and I was trying to put a mirror in it without much luck. No employees hang around the back of the store long enough to get assistance from.
I didn’t find clothes that I like yet. There is some selection of kids clothes. I like the housewares and shoes the most.

I am a Maxxinista when it comes to finding a dress for a wedding that was just days away for a price that was less than my plate at the wedding reception! I came here on a Saturday, hoping to find a dress for my friend’s wedding with a design that was simple, yet appropriate for a wedding by the beach. I found a dress in the dress section to the right of the store and it only took me minutes to decide and head on over to the well organized line for cashiers. This place is not like ROSS, where there are zillions of people waiting noisily in line. There was a digital counter that notified the next customer in line when the cashier was ready, similar to when you go to the bank or something. I felt very happy in knowing I was getting a good deal and didn’t have to search high and low. So if you need style that won’t take a while, try TJ Maxx and let out your true Maxxinista!

I have heard about TJ Maxx for years and years but have never been in one until today. I went in looking for some specific houseware items and was impressed by how neat, clean and organized it was for a Sunday afternoon with a store full of shoppers.
While I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I did take note that this was the place to come in the future for great deals on every kind of kitchen, bed or bath item imaginable. The women’s clothes sections were really buzzing so I imagine there were plenty of good deals there as well. In the end I walked out with something completely different than what I had come in for — a dapper hat for one third the price I had seen at another store a couple months ago.
I’ll definitely be coming back.

I agree with the other reviewers concerning what the great finds are at this store but I also want to add my favorite section: fashion jewelry!!! I’ve been to this store 4 times and each time I found a wonderful piece of jewelry. That is not the case at other TJ Maxx stores I have visited.
I never see these pieces at the regular department stores: Marcy’s, JC Penny, Kohl’s, etc. That’s what I like about their pieces: great prices and no one else will be wearing what I have on.
I do like to make a statement with my jewelry! It’s usually cheaper than buying a new outfit.

I don’t go here often, but sometimes get the urge cause it’s super close to my mom’s house. Most of the time, I am there just looking at the handbag section. And what a handbag section they have! Racks and racks of bags and right by the entrance. I could spend an hour there just looking at purses. They have some good luggage too. They do have some great deals, and designer brands as well, at minimum of 40% retail. I think they are a step above Ross and Marshalls. When I do take time to go to the other sections of the store, I will usually find some good finds, especially in bath products area and household goods. I could really spend 2 – 3 hours there if I have the time. Lots of parking and really not much of a line to pay every time I’ve been there.

I really love coming here. Sometimes I can find really good bargains for way cheaper than I ever thought. Last year my cousin and I came here to check out some of the stuff they had, and she came out with a ton of cute things for her and her children. She bought a couple of really pretty dresses for her daughter, a couple of shoes for her boys, and a bunch of tops for herself. I found a cute blue Juicy Couture dress that day!
When I come here with my mom I usually like to get away from her, not saying that I don’t like to shop with my mom, it’s just that her taste of clothing and mines aren’t quite the same. My mom prefers to check out dress suits, and slacks, while I usually go towards the junior’s section/​handbag section. I’ve seen some really cute Juicy Couture appeal, and handbags here as well.
The only thing I have to say is that you will be required to dig around for stuff. I don’t mind digging through stuff, if I am able to find wonderful things.

My mom and I love coming here. My mom is a major bargain hunter so TJ Maxx is like Nordstrom for her. I think it’s much better than Ross or Marshalls personally, but it probably depends on the different locations as well. It’s especially great for men’s clothing, undergarments, and slippers. It’s also great if you’re going to be travelling and need some new luggage (obviously not some major designer brand). I buy my socks here, clothes, housewares!!!, some shoes, house slippers (for the hardwood floors), sheets, beach towels… hahahaha apparently a lot of things.
They have great bathroom décor, kitchen items, and any general household item (ON SALE) which I love. The only gripe about TJ Maxx and other stores like it is the organization. I am not the type that likes to rummage through things to find things, or that needs to look around the area to look for a piece of something I want to buy, but for the most part I don’t mind it here. This is my favorite location for a TJ Maxx as well. Maybe because I am most familiar with this one due to coming with mommy, but this one is my fave.
TJ Maxx is great for gifts too! Hellooo… Christmas is coming up!
