Noooooo please don’t tell me I didn’t get a chance to say farewell to the couple who owned this store. I patronized this store almost daily since I lived within walking distance! Since my move my visits were less frequent. Regretfully I stopped by yesterday and I found a new owner, what a shocker and he told me he just bought the place… the prior owners were always so sweet and kind and I know they owned the place for a long time. it won’t be the same without them. If your er easing this, we will miss you!, happy retirement!

This place is ok… everything here is freakin expensive n old (with the exception of stuff like beer n drinks)…
I usually walk here from work when I’m too lazy to get into my car and drive down the street to the 76 station…
They have a pretty decent selection of liquor n beer n stuff, but its a liquor store. they better have a decent selection rite? Haha.
I woulda given this place 2 stars, but considering it takes me 30 seconds to walk here from my work, ill give it an extra star, just for convenience factor.

Maybe it’s the nostalgia l have for this place from when l used to walk over as a child since my parents used to own a business nearby, but l love the old couple who run this store. They’ve always been very friendly and they take suggestions on what to order when stocking their store (officially addicted to flamin hot funions now!!).
Just be weary of items that aren’t very high traffic, like most of the medicine or packages of crackers… check for expiration dates and dust! Also it’s a cash only institution so be sure to have some on you, or be willing to use the atm located inside the building
