Seems that the AC is fixed. Overall, great place to chill at while relaxing and having a beer. They change a few of their beers on tap and serve wine. Awesome place to end the night!

I like the concept of Umaya Lounge. I like the couch in the back. I like the multiple screens along the walls. I like the food options. I like the playlist. But I don’t love Umaya.
On my recent visit, we ordered several things:
— Oyster fries: basically just fried oysters. No restaurant in the near vicinity offers fried oysters so I appreciate them.
— Tonkontsu ramen: Meh… broth was not flavorful. I’d pass on the ramen here.
— Pork Oshi: this was interesting. It’s a bit confusing, but it works. Very little pork to rice ratio, though.
— Chicken karage: loved! but I love this anywhere lol
— Short Ribs: pass on this. The food came out and it smelled incredible but the taste lacked so much flavor. We split one piece of the short rib and (I) decided that it wasn’t worth the calories lol…
— Umaya wings: we ordered this in the hot and spicy and it was pretty good. My friend could not eat more than 1 because they were too spicy for him, so perhaps be mindful of how much spice you can handle before ordering this.

**I am writing this review to rate the terrible service NOT the food***
Umaya is a great place for a filling bite, i am MORE than satisfied with the food. There is never a dish on the menu that I’ve ever been disappointed with. I recommend the mini burgers or any of the ramens. Will not disappoint!
However the reason i have felt obligated to write this review is/​was because of it’s terrible service. Now this wasn’t the WORST experience I’ve ever had. But it most definitely was the most frustrating.
I understand on a regular day its slow there is usually the one bar tender girl (that is almost always amazing~) on top of everything. And on a weekend you’d expect more foot traffic, however, on this particular night there was not a large crowd. Infact it was to the point where the usual bar tender and an additional server had enough l
