Flour Power Confectionery

My husband is working out of town in NOLA. It was his birthday yesterday, so I ordered the Strawberry White Chocolate cake from Flour Power; my husband and his co-​workers LOVED it! I was worried it would be too sweet, but they unanimously agreed it was one of the best cakes they’ve had & it was so pretty! From the moment I called I received amazing customer service. They delivered the cake with a sparkler candle and I couldn’t have been more pleased! Thank you so much Flour Power for helping me celebrate my husband’s birthday from far away!

I used Flour Power years ago for birthday cakes when I lived in NOLA and remember the white chocolate strawberry being the best cake I had ever eaten. I was so glad to see they still do cakes and I was able to order one for my destination wedding. We had the hazelnut chocolate on our top layer and the strawberry cream cheese for the bottom. They copied a photo I sent from Pinterest and it looked and tasted amazing! Thank you so much for our wonderful cake!

Just had a destination 70^th Brithday party in NOLA and was referred to Flour Power for our cakes. What they created for us was just so exceptionally beautiful!!! Beyon any of our expectations given that we could only describe a concept. The Flour Power team are Truly Artist!!! We had the lemon butter cream and a red velvet, both flat out amazing!

Flour Power made us three moist and delicious cakes for our wedding last April, and even delivered them as well. I still get complements from guests about how delicious they were. I could have (maybe did?) eaten the whole red velvet cake myself. Thank you so much for everything!

Have never actually eaten a cake here — but have ordered 6 cakes over the past (4?) years. One for my mom’s birthday every year, and a couple for other special occasions. My family has loved both the taste and the appearance. I’m all the way in NYC, so to be able to order a Chalmette cake for my Chalmette family makes me very happy.
My only complaint is that they are such sticklers for their deadline. I called once to order two days in advance for a regular cake, and they were already closed at 5pm. I left a voicemail and got a call back the next day after 12pm. They refused to make the cake =/

I have actually ordered 2 different cakes From Flour Power. Have gotten nothing but compliments from both events. The first cake was ordered for the NFC Championship game that the Saints won to get into the Superbowl. We were celebrating my son’s birthday and so we ordered a Saints Helmet. AMAZING!!! The helmet looked real. From the details of the facemask, Riddel logo, etc. People had no clue it was a cake until we cut it at Halftime. It was Chocolate Mousse. DIVINE!!! a chocolate lovers dream. Even people who are not fans of chocolate loved the cake. It was moist and not to rich.
The second cake we got a couple of weeks ago. Strawberry shortcake. YUM!!! The cake was most and the filling was not really rich. The cake was taller than I expected and the strawberries were huge.
Groupon did have a coupon for their cakes but I can tell anyone and everyone. The money spent on the cakes is definitely worth every penny.

We sent them a mock-​up of what kind of design we wanted and they did a knock-​out job. Our cakes (we got a red velvet groom’s cake and a raspberry buttercream wedding cake) looked so beautiful.

The cake literally melts in your mouth. My wonderful sister took the liberty of ordering it and boy was it a treat.
