Mehh… The service was friendly and efficient… it is a dive bar and has that feel. Especially when confronted with the no guns or knives sign upon entry. But sometimes those places have outstanding food at good prices. This… is not that place… well not for our visit. We had the banging shrimp appetizer… it was less banging and more like a soft tap. Crunchy fried shrimp in a mild cream sauce with maybe paprika… but no real spice or heat. I had the jambalaya with chicken, sausage and sea monkey sized shrimp. It was edible… no flavor other than the tomato water it was cooked it. The lovely had shrimp creole… large shrimp… in a tomato sauce over rice. No spice or flavor other than tomato. Both of these were nursing home foods… bland and flavorless. Now they had 2 nice sides… apple fritters and a hash brown casserole. The hash brown casserole was the star of the night. Perhaps we just should have stuck to normal bar food… and they should too. Keep it simple. Make it good.

Great steak and sea food and atmosphere! LOVE the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ wing sauce!
