If you need to get fingerprinted, this is your place. When my new manager offered to email me directions to the Chamblee PD, I told her that I already know how to get there since I was there earlier this week. Overshare much?
Fingerprinting is available Monday through Friday from 1:00 — 3:00. The cost is $ 10 for the first card, and $ 5 for each additional card. THEY ARE CASH ONLY. Pick up a number (Hey, it’s kinda like you’re at the bakery!) and make friends with your neighbors while you wait. I got there at 1:30 and my number was called just after 2:00. The process only takes five minutes, and the place was empty when I left. It seemed to me that most people get there within the first hour, so it might be worth it to arrive in the 2:00 hour. Don’t forget your cash!
