Radioshack has always been one of my favorite electronics stores. It’s not so big that it’s overwhelming. Like a mini-bestbuy with a small selection of the best electronics. I bought a top of the line Netgear router here last time. It stopped working after a few months due to corrupted firmware. But that’s not Radioshack’s fault. Thumbs up for the Shack, thumbs down on any Netgear products.

I’ve used and depended on this store many times; and I have had a poor experience now. One employee in the store serving 5 customers, I prepaid a $ 2 order to be picked up at the store in two days, made two trips and more phone calls to find it was being mailed to me on the 3rd day. Just disappointed. Keep and check carefully the recept!

Guess who has the cheapest and highest quality VGA cords?! No, it’s not the Walmart across the parking lot. You’ll find it at the Shack. One day after work I conducted a side-by-side price comparison(clearly I had nothing better to do) when in search of a new cord for my LCD monitor. I honestly had no idea what I was looking for… no idea why one thing would be more important than another… or how much I expected to spend. After careful consideration and walking back and forth to Walmart I decided on a cord here. It was the same size, made with better metal(because apparently that’s a big deal), and cheaper than the one at Walmart. Okrr?! I’m sure the employees thought I was nuts for not coming in for a new phone or mobile plan. Regardless, they were both nice and gladly helped me pay once I made my selection. Check out Radioshack first. It wouldn’t have been my starting point, but it will be for future electronics-related purchases.
