Rite Aid

Last week Tuesday I needed Hawthorn extract and it was out on the shelf. I asked a csr and she looked it up for me and ordered 2 bottles to arrive on Friday. She was very kind and helpful. Then I arrived on Friday and approached a csr on the vitamin aisle. She was talking on her cell phone. I waited for a minute. She did not acknowledge me at all so I said «Excuse me…» she then took the appropriate action and ended her personal telephone call to assist me. I asked her about the hawthorn extract I ordered that woulde be here on this day. She told me they just received the truck. She then talked to another girl and the girl came over. I repeated myself and the girl told me they just received the truck. She flipped open a tote with the vitamins in it and told me I was welcome to look through it and she went back to what she was doing. I rummaged through the tote and found my two bottles. I shook them at her and said «I found them… thank you sooo much.» (Do I work here?)
Then today I go in to buy some water and a card and I notice the 2012 Entertainment books on display. There was no price but the books have always been $ 25 so I go to the counter to make my purchases and the item rung up at $ 35. I asked the clerk to remove the item that it was too expensive. She kindly did so. I told her there was no price on the display. She said she would tell her manager. When the manager arrived to approve the void the clerk told her manager in front of me that there was no price on it. The manager just shrugged and walked away back into her office. Now THAT’s customer service!
I work for another retail establishment that prides itself in customer service. If I had ever treated a customer in this manner I would have been severely disciplined if not fired.

I got really sick last year so I have had to take alot of medication. Originally I was going to Walgreens. I was part of their savings club. I have no insurance. I was spending between $ 1000 – 3000 a month. The Pharmacists were not very friendly. I happened to go into this Rite Aid store and met some of the nicest people in the Pharmacy. Ola priced things for me and the savings were enormous so I switched all my scripts to Rite Aid. Ola and Cleveland know me and always say hello. I love that!!!
