This place should be condemned. I booked a 1 night stay thru Priceline when I arrived the office was closed! I got there at 9pm they closed at 8:30. No one answered the phone when the security guard called. I’m calling their corporate office first thing I the morning. It’s located near a homeless camp. Trash and clothes were everywhere outside! People were loitering in the parking lot the place is a city dump! Beware!

This hotel is located in a very convenient area about 10 – 15 mins northeast of Lenox mall and 5 minutes north of Oglethorpe University. It also sits one block west of Chamblee MARTA train station and ICT college. The front office staff is friendly, courteous and helpful… at least to me they were. The housekeeper/maid is ghetto, unprofessional and rude. The facility is unclean, almost filthy. The actual room size is surprisingly larger than the typical extended stay format. It feels more spacey and aesthetic than Suburban Suites. There is a full kitchen with: a refrigerator, stove-top burners(no oven), microwave and coffee-maker. There is a walk-in shower in the bathroom.(no tub) Coin laundromat on-site There is a tv(full cable channels) with a dresser stand, two night stand tables and a larger study type table. The heating and a/c unit works soundly although the filter blows out dust that settles on your surface tops. The property sits directly behind Office Depot and Chamblee High School, so the neighborhood and area has a safe and secure feeling. The walls are thin and the guests are quite inconsiderate with their noise levels when it is bedtime late at night. One time I came back to my room after being out for the day and it was unlocked. I checked for any missing personal items and contacted the manager. She stated that it may have been my fault and that she would ask security to double check the premises. If someone stole my stuff, wouldn’t they be long gone by the time I got back to my room? Only hotel staff has key entry. The card reader on the door lock is the worst I have experienced in the history of my hotel stays. Even though my room key card was valid, sometimes the lock would not read it and I had to be re-issued new key cards on at least 6 separate instances. The wi-fi is free but crappy. Your computer and mobile device will always be knocked offline for hours at a time and you just have to gamble and try to get logged back. There is also a horrible roach infestation… ugh! The worst of the absolute worst is I contracted an extremely horrible skin rash from this hotel. It required medical attention and took me over 4 months to heal from. I still experience after effects from it. It is suspected to have come from the mattress or carpet… a type of mite that favors human skin… yeah *sigh* a friggin’ modern day lepar is what it made me feel like. Unilocal has this business listed as closed, but it is currently open.
