My boyfriend and I are long distance and he ordered me flowers for valentine’s day and since he doesn’t write Unilocal reviews– I will! He told me that the people on the phone were absolutely wonderfully helpful and sweet. So ¹⁰⁄₁₀ on service!
I got my flowers and boy were they beautiful and super fresh! They lasted me for well over a week and a half with water and adequate sunlight.

Rushed in and asked for help selecting a houseplant for a coworker who is retiring. Got fast, friendly service and was shown a number of options at varying price points. Picked out an adorable succulent with pretty pink flowers for under $ 15 before tax. Was in and out in under 10 minutes.

I had never heard of April’s Florist before finding them online. My first thought was that they were a bit pricey. But, I’m telling you, the price was definitely worth the product my wife received when I had them delivered to her workplace. She said they were the best floral arrangement she had ever gotten. She sent me a picture and I expected less than what you see online. But they looked EXACTLY like the online advertisement. I will never use another florist in Champaign/​Normal, again.

April’s has consistently delivered great arrangements and smiles! Highly recommended and will visit again!

I used April’s Florist for my wedding, seven years ago. She did a wonderful job. Worked with me on price, design, etc. Everything was wonderful and she was fun to talk and plan with.
More recently, I went to her to help my friend with planning for funeral flowers/​arrangements. She worked with us and helped us decide on a budget-​friendly and beautiful set of flowers, sprays, etc. They were so pretty.
April’s is my go-​to place for flowers.

April’s Florist has turned my husband into a believer of sending flowers!!! The online ordering system is easy to use, delivery is fast and the flowers are beautiful. You definitely get your money’s worth with her large beautiful arrangements. Once April was out of a certain vase for what my husband ordered, so she called him and acted like it was a big deal (she could have said nothing and we would have never known) and upgraded the arrangement. Beautiful flowers, great customer service!!!

I rarely write a Unilocal review, unless service is exceptional or exceptionally disappointing. To keep it brief…
I frequently order flowers to be delivered to loved ones on special occasions. I know how much a decent bouquet costs. So when I asked what flowers April had available, and she said she had some multi-​colored roses, I requested a few multi-​colored roses and additional flowers with no green filler. She said she could give me a lovely bouquet for $ 65 (not including tax/​delivery/​etc).
What my sister received was a couple of Gerber daisies and stargazer lilies, a TON of carnations, filler flowers (no greenery — at least they got that right), and NOT ONE ROSE. For $ 80 total, I’d think they could have shoved in at least 1 or 2 of the only flower I requested. I didn’t ask for a dozen of them.
To their credit, they did deliver same day (about five hours after I placed the order).
Some places deliver the flowers you order. Some places skimp, hoping you will never know how many cheapo carnations they’ve shoved in there. Apparently, April’s Florist does the latter. Use another company for delivery in the CU area.
