This place is ridiculous. My boyfriend bought a car from his friend and in the process of getting the title changed over to him, Beck’s completely lost it. Then they took so long to get him the license plates that the temps expired and he had to get another set of templet plates. So unorganized!

I call beck’s my little hidden gem in C-​U. The staff is quick & courteous. I’ve always gotten my titles, tags or any other state items quicker than waiting at the dmv.

Avoid! It has been six months since i went to Beck’s for a simple title transfer. I finally contacted the State of Illinois DMV and no paperwork has been submitted! They took my money, title, all the paperwork and it has all disappeared. Good luck getting someone to pick up the phone and of course you can’t leave a message. Looks like I’ll need to pick up a lawyer. Thanks for the hassle Beck’s!
