They’ve really cleaned this place up. They have a great selection of clothing and bags. You can’t argue with the prices either! Its not the best if you’re looking for something else like furniture.

I like the stuff they carry but I’m appalled about the very homophobic nature of this organization. They support openly anti-gay groups as well. They won’t be getting my business again.

If you’re a college student and need cheap furniture, this is your spot. Craigslist prices were out of my budget so I went here. I furnished my kitchen and living room with this store alone. Whole kitchen table set(table with two chairs) $ 20. TV stand $ 5. Book shelf $ 7. Leather love seat $ 100.

For me it seems as though Lady Luck frequents re-sale shops and all at a feasible price. I went to the Salvation Army with one objective: find a nice pair of high-waist shorts. I had my doubts, and when i began the search i was skeptical because the layout and options looked more janky than swanky. At a glance of the clothing section I feared there would be more of the innnterestiiing(D; in a bad sense)/“no they shouldn’t have, but did anyways” clothing pieces, but thankfully I was wrong. After looking through the shorts rack – halfway through– I found a pair of high-waisted shorts from F21 in good-condition, and for the price of $ 3… =) I had completed my objective. Other times I went: –I lucked out on a pair of VS rain boots in decent condition for $ 5. –Another time I visited, I came across a family edition Apples-to-Apples game that was in great condition for like $ 3-$ 5. OVERALL: I would say this store has decent clothing(do note: at times, there isn’t a multitude of clothing to choose from), books/entertainment and seemingly decent home goods(mainly vintage/used, and few items near brand-new status). I think the Salvation Army on Neil, has more clothing selections but both are pretty decent.

I LOVE this location! It’s much better than the other one. Every time I go I find something. I mean it is a thrift store so you have to be flexible with what you find. You’re not going to be able to walk in and find exactly what you would at the mall. But I kinda like that. It’s good to have things that I won’t see someone else wearing the next day. Today was one of my worst days there and I still found FIVE things and everything was only 12 bucks! Plus they’re name brand! SWEET! I also have much more luck here than at goodwill. Every since they moved to Prospect I feel like it’s over picked.

This store is dingy, dark, and dirty. The racks are not well stocked. The selection is lacking. The staff wouldn’t notice if you walked out with a bag of items without paying for them.

So I was trying to furnish my new pad and I snagged a beautiful desk here. I think this place is usually hit or miss, but like the Resale Habitat for Humanity store, they sometimes have really nice pieces for cheap! :P Yay for affordable furniture!
