I personally love smoothie king. I always get either the slim-n-trim with chocolate or the angel food… with diet down. So there are less calories and sugar than in a regular one. AND they have a drive-thru which is super convenient. To the people that are complaing about price, well, you are also only supposed to have one of those as a meal replacement. So, technically it’s a good amount to be spending.

Yes to all of what Melissa said. Come to Champaign Jamba Juice. Plus, within the last month, Smoothie King raised their prices. They’re nuts! A large Angel Food smoothie is now over $ 8. A medium is over $ 6 and a small is a little under $ 5. Those are full-meal prices if you ask me. Not blended fruit in a Styrofoam cup. Ahh, more shit for a landfill. Very healthy, right?

Despite what food companies would like you to think, most smoothies are not health food. Most smoothies have enough sugar to sustain about 50,000 hummingbirds. Knowing that, you are probably craving a smoothie because they taste good. A good smoothie can be as good, if not better, than ice cream. Sadly, despite the fact that they contain mounds of sugar, Smoothie King drinks often taste chalky and flavorless. In terms of smoothie stores, I much prefer Jamba Juice and I often fantasize about a Jamba replacing this Smoothie King.
